I'm in my 30's white and middle class, I think part of it comes from having lived enough and worked my way up at my job to be able to afford a somewhat expensive toy. However I will say that it requires far less maintenance and money than any boat I ever owned lol. An it is an addiction as Goldrush stated. It gets in your blood
I'm not sure why it seems that way to you. I started in my early 20's and would hardly have been in classified as middle class. I know people of many ethnic origins that are hovercrafters and many people start younger than I did. Once the bug bites you...... where there is a will, there is a way.
