God bless her soul. She was a goodhearted person she supported the gay community and had love for them instead of hate. In an "industry" where that was not a popular attitude among her close peers I'm sure. Jim Bakker now he's another story. What a shlub. My heart goes out to Jim and Tammy's children the scandal and Tammy's death must have been very hard on them.

Aww, I miss her! I knew her from the scandals, makeup, etc. since I was a kid..... it wasn't 'til 'the eyes of tammy faye' that i truly saw her as the beautiful person she was. I'm an agnostic, but if there IS a heaven, I sure hope she's there.

I used to watch her for "shock value". I thought "What is she trying to sell now?". You don't know what you have until you lose it. She is intelligent, ahead of her time and a Christian in the true sense of the word.

If you read the bible it states somewhere that if one in a marriage has committed adultry the other is free to divorce.Tammy Faye was free. As for her theology ? She lived her life just as each of us do. This interview is historic and , honest. Cancer had taken place in Tammy's body, why in the world would she have a reason to lie in this interview.

her divorce wasn't Biblical. Although, at this point, I bet Jim Bakker is rather relieved that she divorced him. Just a thought.

Tammy Faye was quit a character. I am a Witch not a Christian but I enjoyed watching her on t.v. (I like to educate myself about other religions). I was glad to see when she got into secular telivision. I feel she was genuine in her faith. Rest in peace Tammy Faye.

I was saved in 1979 while watching PTL..

Tammy Faye said Jesus loves you, really loves you. It was a revelation to me that He did love me. I repented and he saved me. Since then, I know the PTL did many things that were not right. So I am sure Tammy and Jim had tthings to repent for.

Their sins are between them and God. Who am I to judge anyone. I am a forgiven sinner too. Thank God for His mercy and grace! If he could forgive me, I know He will forgive anyone.

I also loved Tammys sense of style, her wardrobe, and that mascara look that only Tammy could pull off. Jan 19th 2005 - The interviewer says it when she is introducing Tammy Faye. I was amazed at the (mine?) misconception's of this woman. She was displayed by the media, back when the Jimmy/Jessica incident came forth, SO differently than what she really was. She was really a lovely, kind, fun woman and I am glad that the real Tammy Faye was exposed before her death.

Jim and Tammy are (were) human beings made of flesh and blood fully able to "fall down". There was only one man who walked this earth who was without sin. Jim and Tammy were a wonderful couple and Tammy was, quite frankly, a hoot! Jim has paid his debt, according to the law and Tammy repented and led thousands to Christ before her death. Remember, the whole world was with her that week!
