when i put my motor in my airplane i only wished that i had put in canister silenser insted of the original silenser so the engine would be not so loud. outher wise it is a great engine / Håkan / han050

Hi

Im new at gas engines ,I just bought a new gp26r but i don`t realise how it`s the tuning up proces , what im doing is to start it , take it to max rpms and lowering those 150 rpms using the Hi screw , then i take it to low and regulate the lo screw is it right?

What oil mixture should i use?

How long should i run it before first flight?

Idle rpms? Icam`t get below 3000rpms is it ok?

i fly at 8000 ft what prop should i use?

A friend of mine had to work on a crrc 50cc. It was a brand new engine though with very low compression. You could feel it just by turning the prop.

He was thinking of sending it in for a rework. Just wanna let everybody know. Could have been that only one who knows.

Your Rpms sound good even on the big prop.. What were the rpms on it?
