when i first saw this seen while watching this movie i expected a sad ending but when is saw the outcome it truly made me happy inside and out. the movie is truly inspiring and i very much enjoyed it.

I've seen the movie pop up on Netflix but never bothered to watch it cuz it looks lame & I thought the animation was cheesy BUT AFTER WATCHING THIS...I THINK I JUST MIGHT CHECK IT OUT...... I say this should have been part of the preview :)

This is an amazingly touching movie that is truly underrated, and that makes me feel the following emotions, listed in order of intensity...

#1 - Confuzzled

#2 - Sadness

#3 - Pity

#4 - Anger

PS. I might also feel a bit prideful that i appreciate this movie.

Ive seen this movie more than five times and this is by far the best part of the movie... Every time i see it I cant help but cry... This is truly a wonderful movie... One question at beginning of movie it said it was based on a true story is that true?

eezeedoesit, you posting this video on youtube with this title has spoiled the movie for me. I was looking for the trailer to decide if I wanted to watch it or not and spotted this video in the column. Thank you. Couldn't you have left those key words in the tags for this video and not put them in the title? It's very inconsiderate.

And changing the name would be even more trickery in that scenario because then indeed you might get to see something you didn't expect or want ! What a GREAT MOVIE!!!!! Even though I am lucky to have friends and people in my life who love me, I REALLY related to Mary and what that sweet, awkward girl would go through with times in her life. She's one of my favorite characters who are far less than perfect but oh so appealing as a heroine!! This movie really touched my heart. Never underestimate the power of fate, true friendship, and the ability to love oneself. :)

I doubt it will happen. This kind of movie has a better chance to win when it is an animated short film - since only people who know how to assess an animated film see those. Every joe shmoe saw Up and unlikely saw this. It is one of the better pictures in a long time though.
