Today there is absolutely no scholar or any University which excepts kurds having any lineage to the ancient Medes in their ancient Middle east studies. I suggest check out the ancient middle east dept. in schools such as UCLA in california, UIC in chicago for starters. there is not one shred of evidence hinting anything about the kurds having a connection to the Medes in their curriculum . The books that the kurds use as their sources aren't worth the paper it's printed on.
