Indeed this series is very good. Watching it I´ve learnt a lot about Monet ´s life and of the others impressionists painters such as Renoir, Manet,Cezanne and Basilie.
It's a very nice series - and so important! It made me understand the difficulties the Impressionists had at that time. Well, and now I understand why - aside from the age difference - there was no chance for the isolated Vincent van Gogh to become their friend... The situation of these Impressionists was so much better than Vincent's - they could rely on eachother, the strenghened eachother...
