It's not how much beef they aren't putting in their "meat" mix, it's how much they are. If they had a meat free taco, even with all those chemicals, I would be more likely to eat there again. We have no idea where their meat comes from, and I'll bet money that it's FULL of way more harmful stuff than the preservatives, not to mention the cruelty that comes with large meat producers.

Taco Bell is an excellent global industrial meal producer. It is a good sustainable practice to recycle industrial food chemicals into the food chain. It is not just the "beefy" flavored meat-type filling, you probably should research the taco shells and patented corn products produced by Monsanto Chemicals.
