Wanted to say thank you to patrickJMT! I was so frustrated that I walked out of math class today. 10 minutes into the video, and I get it!! Thank you for taking the time to make and post these videos, they are invaluable!!
@patrickJMT I really want to send you this math question i have but i don't think you would understand it if i ask as there is not square root symbol on the keyboard :(
i have this question in my book.. and i dont understand it... it says What irrational number can be approximated by the number 3.3166. how do you do this?
@luvbeingmama83 you do the opposite of a square root, which is 3.3166^2 = 11. so the square root of 11 = 3.3166. the ^2 = to the second power, just in case
I have looked for your videos on many occasions since returning to school. You are clear and concise, and make the topics relatively simple. Thank you! You have tutored me through homework numerous times!
thank you so much sir, i finally am undterstanding more about algebra...roots and radicals specifically...I plan to go back to school....even though i am older i feel that i will be able to catch on......thank you so much....black america!!
why is that a video helps me understand this in a short amount of time but when a teacher teaches me, I don't learn shit -__-

@lEAHl0V3 2+2+2 is 6. 2*2*2=8 is the same thing as saying 2*2=4 *2=8. Now, one might ask, who is the jack?

i or j numbers, are used a lot.
they are used a lot in AC circuit theory and a lot of maths that involves time.
