i luckily was just in front of the tv to see who was playing when i heard idina menzel and i had to hold my mom's hand i was so excited. she was excellent. the crowd started cheering so much i couldn't hear her towards the end, but i don't blame them. i'd be screaming at the top of my lungs if i saw her singing the national anthem live too.
