Hard to tell, but from here they look a bit like tan jazz shoes, which are sometimes used for modern as well... any online site should have tons of options. :)

actually, i reccomend going to capezio or center stage. and they arent lyrical shoes. they are regular jazz shoes but gray. i hate gray so i use suntan

I think it's because she's a bit stiff in her upper body when she's dancing. Idk. This choreography seems to call for more free and organic movement to fit the lyrics and the mood of the song. Not so much about technicality here, I guess.

not trying to be disrepectful to you, but what is wrong with what shes wearing? How can you say an outfit that fits the piece is wrong? I know youre all about god and everything but this is art. Maybe the piece is not meant to be "eloquent." Dancing for the lord is a wonderful thing and i think what you do is excellant, but im sure the lord appreciates all different forms of art whether they are praising him or not. we all have different means of artistic expression.

For most it's considered a combo of jazz and ballet. There is an emphasis on using dance to express emotion.

The only difference I would say compared to contemporary is that lyrical is more fluid.
