Never understand why people feel like they are entitled to everything. What happened to personal responsibility? I am sick of these people going out and making stupid moves and then expecting us to fix all there problems. Quit spending money! I don't own a house, so why should I pay for you to have one?
@sara31tx The government bailed out the banks for fear of the economic meltdown that probably would have resulted without emergency funding and the liquidation of toxic assets. However, the bailout should have accompanied structural or systemic changes such as the breakup of the big banks and requiring banks on the dole to make investments that would boost the public. Unfortunately, due to the plutocratic nature of Washington, DC, those changes did not occur.
@sara31tx And not to be persnickety, but if you're going to criticize people for being stupid (and so many of them are), you should know the difference between "there" and "their."
Politics? The real reason is he understands the depth of politics and futility trying to effect change from the top down. To build something you must start at the bottom.
Maybe he just wants to have some PEACE...which in his position is to stay out of it...He's done his biut..made a difference ~ influenced many people with conservative ideas...done much good compared to any of the congress and senate...scratch that...ALL the congress and ALL the senate!
Yes, and not to mention if you are going to continue worldwide, 100 years in Iraq and bombing of Iran, with oil prices skyrocketing, the deficit will increase and McCain will have to raise taxes. He wants to spend more on military also. But McCain will NEVER be able to win, so the choice is between Ron Paul and Hillary Clinton.

@sara31tx I couldn't agree more!

@sara31tx We've bailed out the banks, not the home owners.
While I agree about personal responsibility, corporate irresponsibility and the tendency to exploit or mislead people must also be rectified.
