Ok, I am sorry to have to ask this, but I once saw a village I really want to buy. I think it was from Department 56, but I am unsure. It was online, and was a subscription, where you buy it and over the next year you recieve more and more buildings. It only showed the first one you recieve though. The first one is a florist, it has green grass, and a purple roof. I think it said the next thing was a bridge, but again, I don't know. Could someone please tell me it's name?
hi, love your video, a great display I've ever seen. have 2 questions, like your cars with the tracks, you replied some one that you got that from ebay, can you pls tell how to search this item on ebay, I couldn't locate? next about the train, what is the scale and the model of your train(not the mono rail)? thanks in advance. pls keep up the great work, you inspired me a lot.
@hasiniharish I believe you're looking for the Lemax Classic Car set. I found them thru a Google search. I don't think they're being made anymore but they are still out there. You can also look on ebay and Craigslist. I bought two in the box in late 2011. Good luck!
Awesome awesome awesome!! I love all the animated things and the carnival rides!! I like the track with the cars!! so very awesome! I hope to someday have a Christmas village, but I don't think I will ever get it to be this big!! thanks and have an awesome holiday season !
That is a truly lovely video :) One of the best. 9.5/10 from me :) (I would give it a 10/10 but my preference is to have a christmas carol playing over the video, like Silent Night)
I never knew they did cars - pity they've discontinued them :(
Two quick questions - do you know what the smaller building is on the right at about 2:08? Is it a proper building or a facade? I can't quite tell. Also is there a skating pond you could recommend that fits with the Caddington village theme? Many thanks!
Wow - this is the most complete Lemax village that I've seen - great job!! Please check out our Livingston Christmas Train Village. It features a lot of Lemax items, including the complete zoo and most of the carnival rides (we're expanding for 2010) plus four Lionel trains (we're also adding another train this year). I'd love to have your feedback since you're an expert. Thanks
Great village. Love your layout! We have most, if not all, of the same Lemax items on our display plus four Lionel trains. Please drop by and take a look at: Livingston Christmas Train Village 2009. We'd love your feedback. Thanks.
Great! I have subscribed to your site so I won't miss anything.
BTW, I will be posting a new video in about 10 days of my latest display for Christmas Dreams in Sydney. It will showcase all the new items from Lemax for 2010 - over 100 buildings, 300 plus figurines, new trees, lights and animated table pieces. I think you may like it. I will also be posting one on their exclusive Carnival display which has almost every single Carnival piece ever produced.
Excellent collection and a great job with the lovely display - a bit cramped, ( I always split my Carnival away from the main display so I can dedicate more space to the people and other stalls between the rides) but we all do the best we can with the space we have and your efforts are a credit to your creativity!
Hi There, thanks for your comment. I know its always a struggle to fit all of my pieces in the one space a challenging task, the problem gets bigger each year as I continue to purchase other items. As for you I know you can understand the on going battle to arrange our pieces beautifully. I also love your display and your video you have posted its nice to know there's others out there just like me.
@showcaseimages Yes...I know it all too well myself! What is generally the size of your Christmas display? Do you also do a Halloween display? Can't wait to see the 2010 village! Thanks for sharing and the videography is nicely done as well.
Busy, crowded and a whole lot of action going on here. I found your village to be very interesting. And what could be better than that? You developed two themes and stuck with them producing maximum effect.
Thanks for posting. Don't you think Lemax would want to link to your wonderful creation? Hmm, yeah.
Thanks for your comment, every year becomes a challenging task as I continue to add to my village. Originally the video was cut to xmas tracks which made the video much more enjoyable to view but due to copyright it was removed hopefully this year I may just record the natural sounds making the video a more enjoyable experience.
thanks again for your comment look out for my 2010 version.

Where did you get the track and cars?

@Gibsonblvd
Hi there thanks for your comment.
I got the track and cars from a ebay seller from the usa.
The tracks and cars have been discontinued since 1997.
Good luck with your search.
