The question is, how to find out this ID MESSAGE? this cluster has maybe 19 can messages responsible to make this coolant temperature bargraph go up and down, the mcu from cluster receive the messages already on canbus from the engine ecu, the engine ecu that has the A\D converter to CANBUS the analogic signal on thermistor to can messages!
Not all the other bits of this cluster was so easy like this, this cluster works on ISO9141 and the SAE is J1850VPW (do not confuse it with PWM), it is a system similar to RS232 system ...............................
However the coolant temperature can messages, is something really hard to a normal mortal ...........
