Such a tragic loss. Sure Rorschach is a violent in his ways but whatever he does is always what is right, no matter the cost to himself. Best ending to a movie I've ever seen.
The irony about heroism is, the fight will never end and the price will always be high if justice succeeds. Its the balance of good and evil that keeps the world from falling apart. Its the sad truth but we have to except it.
How many humans have to be killed in order to save humanity? Or should I ask, can you save humanity by doing something as inhumane as killing millions of humans? Rorschach saw Veidt as being evil. Killing millions in order to save billions still makes you evil and "evil must be punished"
Even in death, rorschach's legacy will be rembered as true hero, which is the reason he chose to tell humanity the truth and die trying. Probably the best character in the film
Hell, just one of the greatest death scenes, period.
I didn't think I'd cry with this movie when I started, I hadn't finished reading the comic, but...Rorschach's acting was just so...phenomenally superb throughout it...
I'm going to but this piece-o-shit, gore-glorifying, nasty for the sake o' nasty movie, just for Rorschach. The most fascinating "superhero" I've ever seen, even better than Plastic Man (my favorite). Way better then Batman.
im pretty sure the score is the opening to mozarts requiem, it sounds very similar to the one done by karajan, it could be from another part, because they sound alike at some points.
@cheatman96 IN the graphic novel it was described as 2 viscous liquids that never mix to form grey, and stay symmetrical as they move trapped between 2 layers of latex.
Epic scene. The acting is tremendous. The standout moments for me are Rorschach's last words to Nite Owl. The way he says "Daniel" at the end is very emotional. He almost whispers it, plus the final goodbye look he gives Daniel. Also, Manhattan's reaction after Rorschach's says "what's one more body amongst its foundations". A very rare moment when we actually get to see what little emotion is left in Manhattan. Finally, Rorschach's anger that Manhattan doesn't wan't to kill him. "Do IT!!"
i actually think this scene was done better in the film than in the graphic novel.
i like the dan was there. that kind of confirms that they did have somewhat of a relationship that mattered. plus, the acting was just spectacular from rorscach. the 'what are you waiting for?' and the first 'do it..' break my heart.
does anyone make a symbolic connection between the obelisk that appears when the door opens for Rorschach? or was it just there cuz its cool lookin....
Lol waves his hand and poof, giant blood Rorschach =D

I'd be more pissed if rorschach didn't get the last laugh...but he did so it's not that bad

I like how the best character & the main reason people remember Watchmen dies.
Damn you Alan Moore. Well atleast there's no reason to do a sequel (comic or movie) & ruin the original. :P

I just realized, the rorschach in his remains can be seen both as an angel, and a skull... at least from my point of view. ...thought provoking

@FunkyRaspberry Because his remains were made to resemble a Rorschach test. Symbolic.
