The yelp mobile app automatically saves your review as a draft and you actually have to finish it by logging into on the website. So your app is kinda pointless.
Is it parsing the text (i.e. address, location title) from the captured image - and then running a query on Google to retrieve that same map?
The CNET article on this app mentions using the URI to retrieve application state... but I'm not seeing how the URI is transmitted from computer to mobile device -- it's not part of that image they captured.
There's something else going on here that they aren't explaining...
@atlien991 You have a background process running on all your computers. The software on the phone looks at the picture, seeing the visual 'state' of the computer. It figures out what is open on the computer and opens it on the phone. It's also using URIs to detect states, and they can be transferred back and forth. So when you take a picture of the comp screen, you are actually identifying the target computer by visual 'state', which then gets URI info to the background process from the phone.
@atlien991 because the phone sent a message to the computer with the photo it just took and ask the computer to recognize if it may be part of its screen.

Huh? So how does it actually work?
