@ippie888 Hmm, not sure I just went to the fish store and got a glass top for a 20 gallon long and it fit correctly. The dimensions should be the same as the tank it self
@Th3mast3r69 Well it's brighter than my 50/50 bulb. I actually do like the way LED lights look hitting water. Def a different look! The only think I don't like is not being able to grow many plants.
@ThePencilShredder Thanks! I've had them planted in the substrate for over a year and they are still alive but I think I'm going to tie them to the rocks eventually because the roots always come out of the gravel anyways lol
Nice light man... you should've went with the single bright for a 20 gallon long... light dispersment is much better... also if you don't have lots of plants to compete with algae... you're going to have a problem with algae with the double brights... AGITATE your surface... you will get the SHIMMER EFFECT which makes LED a huge PLUS right now!
lol.. i was doing research on marineland LED single light and it is sad cause there are bad review on it.
I was going to order one but seeing how that it is manual and you have to swtich it by hand, I decide to pass it out until Marineland exactly MADE a really Auto LED lighting.
@TheAquariumKid Thank! The Java Fern is doing great. It keeps growing throughout the tank. The Amazon Sword was covered in algae though and it started dying so I took that out.
u shud of goten the stunner led strips there alot cheeper and brighter

Blue led in tropical tank ? well....
Should have at least warm white led or red led, the red wavelength is very important in tropical tanks.

I have the deep blue solar xtreme and its ten times better than any lighting l have seen so far

@weareallwet @sharkl11 Yes, a glass top necessary. The UVA / UVB rays need to be blocked, the rays cannot penetrate through the glass top.

Yeah that's pretty dark for LED lighting, weird.
MrJJModern 6 months ago
these lights would be great for inspecting baby mushrooms while growing them in the dark.
angelfoodcakeface 6 months ago
Look how dark your tank is dude!!! You love that!??? The light is practically useless!
