lol ill keep ya updated, i was thinking of finding a new bed for it. But im probably just going to finish the flatbed, and fix the rust on the cab. and Paint it. It will be a quick innexpensive frame off resto. with a 2" Body, and 4" RC lift with a set of BFG AT 35's Also planning on welding up a custom front bumper with grill guard for it. and 2.25" straight pipes, or flowmasters.
Yea in the spring im going to tear into it. Body off...see how far i can take it. Nice thing is all the parts for these trucks are cheap. I drove it to the top of montinique... ive had it burried to the hood. and sunk in water to the bottoms of the headlights, And it gave me concussion #3 at north augusta in the mud pit in september lol... It a love hate relationship...
@COPOKurt wow man. yea i hear ya, same way with my truck. its a 72 Chevy C10, that my dad owned for over 20 years, then sold it. i found it 2 yrs later and bought it back, got it on the road, and lost the brakes 2 days later and hit a buick park ave. but im gonna start tearin into mine after i get back from college which i start next summer, but mine's gonna be pretty much a ground-up restoration. michigan is horrible on daily-driven classics like my c10 was lol. Good luck with yours man!
yea my Dad and i are also building a 71 C10 SWB stepside. Complete Ground up/frame off... We are in the process of rebuilding the whole cab at the moment. its an LMC Special lol. Can't wait to see yours!

itll be a while before i can get started on mine, but once i do, ill make videos of every step haha.
