Police get slaughtered by Naxalites because in our country, cops have made careers for themselves by preying on hapless civilians. Even in "civilized" Mumbai, when u return home from late night show, cops harass u and turn u into a criminal suspect only to register a case and to take HUGE backsheesh from u r family.
When u r security force becomes too used 2 preying on civilians and making them criminals, when someone who can fire back comes along, security starts yelling ARMY, AIRFORCE etc
