As for their comparison to the Stones, the truth is that Aerosmith were big fans of (and influenced by) the Stones. Steven used to go around saying he was Mick Jagger when Aerosmith got their start. Supposedly he used to get is a** kicked for saying this back then. In my opinion, they are better than the Stones. And they certainly have continued to record and tour much longer than the Stones did. But technically, the Stones have had more hits than they have..

I feel better about my generation when I see people my age at these shows I'm 20 and I've seen Aerosmith 8 times, Motley Crue twice (soon to be 3 times), Rush 3 times, and Van Halen once with David Lee Roth. The shit that passes for mainstream music nowadays, with the exception of a select few rock bands, is terrible. Long Live Rock!!!

The older Aerosmith is the better of their best songs by far. In the time there was freewheeling and no abandon with it all. The creativitity was better with less. In the time of their hay day, it was common to go to one of their shows and see flaundering about mostly because of the recurational usage and all, so the songs themselfs recorded were better, like many others. To compare them to others is a disservice to them, they were not the best, but they did rock it with them at the time. )

probably the best version Aerosmith ever did, but it still lacks in the guitar solo department compared to Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter on the original studio version from "Get Your Wings". That could be the best guitar duel ever laid down. They came in rattled that amazing shit off and left. No mention on the album either.

Many people say this is their favorite Aerosmith tune and it's because of the guitars..well at least it is to me. Hunter and Wagner..best ever.

yeah i don't know why but when they did 2 almost identical concerts they mixed some of the video together and i think they took the best version of each songs audio and put the mixed video with it.

During some of the songs i noticed brad had 2 different guitars and tom as well but other than that the mixing was pretty good.

I listen to pretty much all of their stuff, except most of Just Push Play (too poppy). They still rock, considering they have torn the house down everytime I've seen them, but they have to get rid of the outside song writers. Steven, Joe, Brad, Tom, and Joey have to sit down and write by themselves I think.

Brad plays alot of the lead for aerosmith , he done half of Aerosmith , most of rocks , some of night in the ruts and live he does just about every song with a exception of few :D , brad is more of a schooled style guitarist and is very layed back , joe is self taught and uses emotion to trigger a solo which is better in way's but also worse :)
