It is because he is using a method called "flash". This is were you click your prayer on while hitting and of while waiting for your next attack. While this is a very good method, I have found it very hard and very unreliable.....however for a "pro-flasher"(rofl) like this guy it is the best method of monster killing!

what other things does bunyip do other than heal 2 hp every 15 secs, give water runes if you feed him with fish and allowing you to eat raw fish? couse if thats it i dont get why its used in slayer so much

Yea, that's 8 hitpoints a minute and about 376 hitpoints per pouch. quite a bit of food saved. Not to mention it's good when it's not multi so you really don't have any other good familiar to use.
