All the jokers even from cartoon, was either just really silly, or crazy. This version was the best because it took all the jokers that we're ever done and put them into their dark place. The mood swings that the joker went through were right on for some one like that.

If you knew anything about the Joker you would know that his father didn't cut his face to give him a big smile. Also, the Joker doesn't wear make up in order to make his skin look really white. In closing, Heath Ledgers version of the Joker is just an insane guy in make up. That is not the Joker!
