@GOWNARD Roll is not unlocked like the other robot masters. She's simply DLC. You just need to download her costume sets to unlock her.

@mariofan130 I used a PSP-3000, which supports outputting games using composite/S-Video cables. Both the PSP-2000 and 3000 supported component cables too, but I don't have a way to record with those.

It's through the game itself, and it's all free. I believe it's through the construction section of the menus, but it's been a bit since I've played the game to remember.

Roll is the only one with alternate costumes. Mega Man has a couple different styles (a version with slide, a version with charge, and I guess a version that can't use powers), but that's it.

I know you have to download Roll, and I'm pretty sure you have to download Protoman too. I can't remember which game option it is, but it's in there, and it's free.

@Soulgal123 To get Roll, you have to download her though Wi-Fi (the patch will be called "Roll Refuses to Lose!"). To get Protoman, you can either get him through Wi-Fi or complete all the challenges in challenge mode.

As far as I'm aware, you HAVE to download to unlock her. It doesn't cost anything, you just need a way to connect to the internet.

I did to. I played the first Megaman when I was in 5th grade. I guess that shows my age huh. <_< Anywho, it's a new day so when I heard 9 was being released, I expected some kind of update. I'm not a graphics whore or anything like that, but they could have went as far as doing 9 at least like 8. Going 8bit was didn't agree with me. I fire up the 8bit games on emus when I'm in the mood for that. But this game shows that you can have classic MM gameplay with a nice small update in graphics.

Then again, I'm getting old and my reflexes are nothing like you young punks. There's a lot of games lately that I'm usually good at that I've been sucking at all of a sudden. This is one of them.

It depends on what you were going for. This video is a poor example of a "speedrun", but it's a very entertaining playthrough. I'd much rather see a game demonstrated well than played fast.
