I've been there in 2009 summer, they also sell deep-fried icecream there. Its icecream inside a dough which is deep-fried. Great place!

Hangzhou looks like a fun place to visit. I never got to go see it this year. It seems like it was the one place I didn't get to go to actually but it's one of the places I want to visit in the future.

Buy your own set of chopsticks man.. never use the ones you get at the stores where you buy the food from.. you can get some really nice metal, telescopic chopsticks that collapse into a small case. This makes them easy to keep clean and put in your pocket where ever you are going.

Be careful. Some vendors charge the tourists more. You must bargain the price. Watch the one standing next to you and how much they paid the vendors. Don't let them charge you more than you should pay. That Chinese guy next to you seems a crazy man, stay away from him.
