@johnissoevil Sadly there was no proper blow off match. They were scheduled to culminate their feud at Summer slam 1990, but Martel got injured before the event. They should have ended the feud with a match at Wrestlemania 6 instead, but crappy booking ruined this promising run. Tito jobbed to Barbarian and Martel beat Koko in a squash match. Tito v Martel would have made more sense.
i love wwf and wcw, it make wrestling better, and now, wwe is keep having the same matchs with the same people, and the same rules in the match, wwe is weak right now
World Wrestling Fact: All of the wrestlers involved in this match, including those in the ring, would form the Dream Team and the Enforcers teams at the upcoming Survivor Series, with the exception of Akeem (who was originally intended to be on The Enforcers, but had to bow out due to injury).
The guy that replaced Akeem? Bad News Brown, who abandoned his team at the previous year's Survivor Series.
you will never see a match of this caliber with the current crop of mid carders employed by WWE.......everyone has a set of moves that they must get in ...albeit in a boring predictable manner
Martel and Santana were two of the best, and two of the most underutilized, stars that the WWF had at that time. Both deserved more than they got.. but at least Santana is in the Hall of Fame. Martel not being in there makes me sick when I think about it.
EVERY match these two had together, though, was full of pure awesome. I don't think Santana won any of them, which is a shame, but they were all great to watch.
this was as PG as the WWE has ever been but people still comment on how this was when wrestling was cool but still blame todays product on PG lol wrestling fans today are so stupid
Oh my God, this was the very first match I can remember watching! I am so glad to have finally found it on here. Love the backslide struggle still lol
I love how Tito is still wearing the Strike Force tights even after the break up.

Looking back, if Martel was the world champ...That would have been interesting.
Almost, almost makes me think of a young Ric Flair world champ.
He could work and had mic skills

@hoghash78 The Model would have made a great champ....did he ever even have i.c.?

I hated seeing Strike Force break up, they were one of my favorite teams, yet at the same time, the breakup gave us this great feud.

6:45 :D Strike Force were a great tag team in a whole sea of great tag teams, being enemies suited them even better
marsharent 5 months ago
wow there's a great vibe to this match, they're really going at it. What's the story with everyone else being at ringside?
marsharent 5 months ago
@marsharent These were two opposing teams at the upcoming Survivor Series.
trekfanful 5 months ago
These days you would only see this type of effort if it was the main event of a PPV.

EVERYONE was on steroids back then, holy shit, even the mid-low carders were juiced out of their brains.
