  • Interesting but disturbing at the same time. Looking at soldiers personal artifects is very sad. Knowing that many died a violent death. I'm not sure we should be disturbing these fileds of honor unless the goal is to find bodies and indentify them so they can be returned home.

  • @thebritishww2man Hi there. I think I'm entitled to an opinion on the matter whether or not you like it. All I see are a bunch of dudes digging up spots where men died. I see people digging this stuff up to satisfy some morbid curiosity they have. I then see them selling this stuff to make a buck. The battles have been recorded. How is digging up dead men help remember anything? Let the dead rest in peace. You wanna know what war is like go sign up.

  • Камрады меня щас жаба задушит! Сохран вообще гут,особенно два зимних касона и к98 улыбнули.Маузер походу вобще помыл и стреляй.

    никогда не понимал..только ради азарта?...

  • комрады четко вобще)

  • would be better if they had not done the digging in the summer???

  • Where is this excavation??

  • :O !

  • Did you find any skeletons in these holes?

  • Buenisimo!

  • as long as any bodies are treated with respect, (which i very much doubt), then i see no problem!!! some the equipment is becoming so corroded now, it is becoming worthless as time passes!!! good to view it all the same. good job!

  • What a mess. Those poor solders will not be identified.

  • what do you do with the explosives?

  • nice nice..........................O_o

  • what happens to all of the stuff besides the explosives?

  • i give u guys a lot of credit. to do this kind of work under those very uncomfortable conditons: frigid cold, damp and so very wet is no joke. but at least you have a bar-b-que.

  • Серьёзный подход к делу. Уважаю. А какой сохран! Держите меня семеро...

  • I dont know about digging up all that live ordinance. You gotta be drinking vodka or something to man up on that shit.

  • Can you give me the name of those songs?

  • I just found a mine BOOM I am dead

  • It's amazing how well-preserved the items are. Due to the perma-frost maybe? It's incredible. Even the paper labels of whatever it was are still intact. 8:41 . Btw. the grenades are probably still explosive. This is dangerous! Thanks for posting this anyway, fascinating!

  • @gastfreund76 I meant 8:08 .

  • bouncing bettys!!!!!!

  • ахренеть копнули

  • do you got find lugers???

  • 5:24 fucked up

  • Comment removed

  • It's amazing that the bog preserved the SS decal on that helmet! :D

  • You are a better man then me, my good sir. I doubt I would donate much of that stuff to museums at all, maybe some of it, but I'd probably keep the coolest things for myself.

  • Why is there a french Hotchkiss machine-gun at 7:24?

  • @SpiroHrvoje1989 the germans used to equip 2nd line formations with captured weapons from all over euroupe and local baltic peoples also fielded a myriad of police battalions that the germans supplied with such weapons to fight partisans so it was'nt uncommon to find a hotchkiss in russia or anywhere here germans fought hope this explains it for you

  • Nice finds, are you find german helmet m42 with ss decal?

dear, lapland relics man in finland. Sorry my english not good:)

  • Nice finds, are you find german helmet m42 with ss decal?

    lapland relics man in finland:)

  • Atenzione,Achtung,Pozor,Uwaga..

    Dangerous work...

    but very ok!

    Thanks

  • what d you do with the exsplosives?? i mean do you just pile them up or what?

  • has anything blown up when u r digging? it looks dangerous... very exciting 2 c your finds

  • those things should go in to a museum not on e-bay............

  • Хорошая работа, приятно смотреть !

  • Very interesting stuff. Are people in Russia still injured, or killed by any of the explosives ?

  • Wow, what are those places, did the Germans leave it all behind when they fled back to Germany after defeat against the russians?

  • @1974sharks So many Germans/Russians died and the battles were so huge that huge amount of materials still to this day exists all over russia/eastern europe. For example, Germans defending a artillery position with 500 men, they hear on the radio 1 million is approaching, they would most likely just leave the dead and all their stuff to be able to escape.

  • @ThePharaohBender Ok, if you put it like that, i can imagine why there still is so many stuff to be found. I think i would run also when i would hear such a message.

  • wow those stielgrenades at 4:13 are very nice sadly u cant keep them

  • dirty job

  • Is that a "Bouncing Betty" Anti personel mine at 4:54?

  • do u sell this at ebay

  • shit they found a panzer faust!!!! fuck good thing no one shot no ones ass with it!!!!!

  • сыро, грязно, холодно но это того стоит Эх

  • facinating

  • Priekrasnyje nachodki pozdrawlaju was.

  • Issen't it scary to find mines and stuff that could explode?

  • Great video

  • Very interesting! Do you also find war dead? I think if it is done with respect- then it is good! It is better to sell things you find to people who appreciate and value these items- than to have a bulldozer destroy the area with the construction of a new industrial park or housing.... just like in Flandern, Belgium. Good job. Es Lebe Unsere Welt-Geschichte!

  • Это законно???

  • I do not care about people digging in reg battle fields, but i would be a little more piss off if u were digging in actual battlefield graves just to keep items for yourself and not putting them where they belong.

  • dude this really makes me want to leave the u.s. to go to europe and partake in the massive amounts of amazing relics you have just waiting to be found

  • 4:54 a s-mine set to destroy a human life

    creepy how its sitting there

is this round is still active ?

  • Respekt!

  • Go Russia !!!!!!

  • Not fair.....that belong to germany !

  • wow! intact SS helmets and battlefield shovels, how cool

  • One time, I went to Virginia. I decedied to go to a civil war battlefield and dug for civil war things. Instead, I find a M1 garand and a M1 helmet. Weird or what?

  • I wonder if these are the stooges who sold me a german grenade box recovered from a battelfield. I bought it on ebay and paid $200 cash. It was never delivered and the seller was delisted when I tried to complain. Be wary buying stuff from Latvia, especially if they only want payment in hard currency. Once bitten...

  • wow,I just payed serious money for a battlefield relic sold from Latvia on ebay,i have a feeling it wont go well

  • Good luck. Don't pay if they specify you forward cash only. Use the protection of PayPal. I am still pissed off for being duped and it was about three years ago.

  • @madness20241 This guy was honest as any. I bought a couple of items from him. He sent perfect items just as pictured. He is not with the guy from Latvia.

  • Великие люди.О них надо слагать легенды.

    Роют ямы размером с дом,чтоб найти патрончиков,лопаток,и даже касок СС,в кол-ве 2 шт. на 15 человек.Пожелаем им успехов в нелегком труде.)))

  • Great video...wish it was not so wet and muddy where you are digging, but lots of things found there. Thanks and keep at it.

  • I am sooo, envious, I live in the uk, and investigate ww2 aircrashes, but we never have the battlefields like you have in russia , my dream is to one day ,do some detecting with a russian/polish club, as ive never detected a battlefield, only aircraft

  • that ss helmet is worth a lot of money!!!!!

  • cool panzerfaust

  • Kryto. Super !!!

  • wish i could do stuff like this but i live in the US

  • don't give ur hopes up! i thought of same things but i recently found several wwi shrapnel shells used for practice in the old military camp site (now my neighborhood lol) i'll make a vid on it soon. try some quick history research, maybe u'll find out some thing interesting like cilvil war stuff or other things like gold :)

  • Alright i didnt think of the civil war thanks

  • @Silveradofanatic Lol, then obviously you have to move to Russia!

  • I 'd rather prefer war than digging in that cold mud !:-)

  • What do you think the Germans did- BOTH!!! I'd like to know what these guys do when they find unexploded munitions?

  • nice founds

  • Heavy ani aircraft machine gun 7:24 and 75 mm shells at 2:28 make me think that that you were digging outside Oranienbaum right? So this was either 4th SS, 5thSS, 6th SS or 20th SS divisions trench.

Is that a Mauser rifle at 3:11?

  • withoud a shred of doubt: it is

  • I hope to one day go dig on a ww2 battlefield. You are very lucky! By the way, nice find at 6:43 and I really like your videos!

  • If you find helmets, guns and so on did you also find dead soldiers?

  • habarolog - well done for the effort to discover and document relics of the war. they would be forgotten and lost if you did not make this attempt. respect - good luck

  • at 1:00

    wow that shell is pristine

  • quick question : can you just go to a site of a battle and collect artifacts

  • Comment removed

  • I like this, but you are like diggingmachines. How much earth do you dig? Respect for that too! Nice movies. Regards.

  • ANITHING to get away from the wife-

  • Live artillery rounds? you guys are nuts.

One day a live round will go off and that will be that

  • i think its theses guys job, to find and destroy these

  • indeed in france every 2 years somebody gets blown apart by an old ww1/ww2 grenade.

  • it is a hobby stupid, i have this hobby too, i like to go on battlefields and find items from war's

  • All remains are buried! Names found the soldier are established (if probably) and immortalized. The found military relics get in museums and collections of the present judges of history. All it is to keep history!

Before shouting about destruction of history, tell to us - that you do for preservation of history?! I am assured, that except for to shout, you never did nothing. False patriots.

  • thanks hab, for all you do!

  • @habarolog wow the artifacts are really well preserved in the soil there.

  • @habarolog please maked a ebay account on ebay.co.uk and sell to the united kingdom lot's of people would love to buy your stuff it excellent items. :)

  • @habarolog Thank you for what you are doing. I have lost family and friends in war and like seeing what you are doing for those who never made it home..

  • of course

  • does the mine are still dangerous?

  • what used metaldetector???send me a private message

  • Dude, these guys should start offering organized, pay-for relic hunting trips to the battlefields. I'd go (and hope to not be blown up, of course). Can you imagine finding that one SS helmet, all shot to shit?

  • ehrm not really, most of those grenades are still active, poor state or not. if they explode it is goodbye life or goodbye bodypart. grenades arent relics or something. there made to kill. even after more then 60 years they can explode

  • where is it ??

  • Comment removed

  • what you do with the panzerfaust, helmets, teler mine, hatchet, MG-42 ammo, stick grenades, and knives

  • GREAT SELLER ON EBAY, NO PROBLEMS WITH THINGS ! THEY ARE ORIGINAL, GOOD PACKAGE , NICE TO DEAL WITH HIM !!!! SEE ON EBAY ID: habarolog

    Thanks, J-M

  • Those Waffen SS helmets you found in the fields near StalinGrad are probably the helmets of the soldiers who were following the German elefant tanks and were killed duto a stray Russian T-34 tank shell

  • great video much dirt :P

    greetings from holland

    cool musik.

    but,

what about bones ( gravediggers..)..? ( dogtags )....?

  • a great video

  • the grenades they find should be destroyed. its quite dangerous. they could explode and then you got some new victims of world war II

  • You're a victim of poor education.

  • man that gun on 3:12 is well preserved! nice the waffen ss must have concentrated in that area

  • so cool i really wish i could do that!

  • GraveRobbers do not support those who rob battlefields leaving only nameless unidentifiable bones lostfor ever with no proper burial do not supportsuch carless in humane ppl with no respect for those who died for there respective countries

  • deadly days back then,do we really have a clue what it was like? easier to find than use, alot of history there
