@Meatpox I don't know what band you saw... but Nachtmystium was pretty amazing last night. Extremely tight with a damn good mix. It was pretty much cd quality. And they were also very full of energy and into the music.

I respect this band for having the courage to release material on Resistance records, the pro-white label. In doing so they caused the music establishment to whine, the anti-white labels and pro-Marxist magazines all unleashed a cascade of opprobrium and vitriol against them way back when for doing so. Saw them at the Marquee in Tulsa with Marduk, Merrimack, and Mantic Ritual. Nachtmystium sucked, all their songs sounded the same and they practically played 50 decibels louder than anyone else, they were the second band I've ever walked out on.

I love the last 3 records greatly!!! But, as much as I hate to say it Iv seen em live 3 times and wow do they suck ass live.Sounds like a cover band.No keys,no samples,cant hear the leads and no psychedelia.Bunch of different members each tour.Great songs on disk though.Very cool stuff.Just not good live.

@Meatpox I don't know what band you saw... but Nachtmystium was pretty amazing last night. Extremely tight with a damn good mix. It was pretty much cd quality. And they were also very full of energy and into the music.

I respect this band for having the courage to release material on Resistance records, the pro-white label. In doing so they caused the music establishment to whine, the anti-white labels and pro-Marxist magazines all unleashed a cascade of opprobrium and vitriol against them way back when for doing so. So many bands conform to the "diversity" dogma. It was refreshing to see Nachtmystium do something different. They have even been attacked by the "anti-fascist" trendies. Check out duke.org

They didn't release on Resistance. Their first full length was distributed, not pressed, by a label with ties to Resistance. The band have disassociated themselves from anything remotely related to facsim/neo-nazi/NSBM.

@brutalextravapalooza While you certainly have a point about the music being poppier than most black metal (with the possible exception of Immortal) saying something like "Blink 182 with a different aesthetic" is a bit much, considering if that phrase (which would be better attributed to, say, My Chemical Romance) was even remotely true, Nachtmystium would be tearing up mainstream charts and drowning in supermodel gash, which is demonstrably untrue. The part about the charts, anyway.

Saw them at the Marquee in Tulsa with Marduk, Merrimack, and Mantic Ritual. Nachtmystium sucked, all their songs sounded the same and they practically played 50 decibels louder than anyone else, they were the second band I've ever walked out on.
