You can tell that lightning strike at 5:28 was close because you can hear the discharge and then the crackle of thunder. The rain was no joke that was some serious stuff. It does say August 22 and this is during the monsoon season, no surprise. Awesome storm.

Actually I live in North Las Vegas and we seldom ever get storms. That is why we are in a severe drought right now. This storm is extremely rare.
