Sheldon did an all right job...but there will never be anyone who could sing like Maurice....Maurice just had one of those voices which just complimented EWF & their music...so sad he does'nt perform now...one of the truly great voices in music ever!!!

This is Maurice White's song, and they can keep this version......some song's should not be redone and this one of them. Maurice laid it down so sweet, and he is an impossible act to follow!
This is EWF not a cover band so it's not being "redone". Maurice can't perform anymore but he's still active in leading EWF behind the scenes. This guy wouldn't be singing if Maurice (and his brother Verdine) didn't give him his blessings.

For those of you who obviously aren't EWF aficionados...the "clown" singing is Sheldon Reynolds who was EWF's former lead guitarist and vocalist and an excellent producer and musician in his own right. I think he did a wonderful job of this song.
By the way, I think they could have done without the dancers as well.

I hated this period of EWF's long and wonderful career. Trying to zip up things with this guy and half naked girls. They have enough talent on one stage to light up the sky! David Wentworth currently sings this for the band and does and AWESOME job!!!! LOVE YOU GUYS!
