hi viperkeeper. i'm from the philippines and will be going to the middle east for work in the coming months -- i will be in dubai (united arab emirates) specifically. what are the venomous snakes i should watch out for if ever? thanks very much in advance.
hi i was just wondering viperkeeper i you could tell what snake would make a good pet for a first time snake owner i would appresiate your response thankyou by the way you have a very nice snake
ViperKeeper, i was wondering if you could send me the link of the video of the Agro male you said drove you out of his enclosure.. would be exciting to watch. Btw Great footage in all your work. Keep it up, me watching...
Hi I was just wondering what would happen if one of the snakes tagged you knowing that you have a vast array of species, do you house anti-vemom for each one?
Do you believe that some of your specimens know you or should I say have become familiar with you. Because you are routinely bringing their food and that you attend to different specimens, do they recognize you? Would a particular snake realise that it wasn't you if someone else gave them water? Really interesting to see these creatures up so close.
No question about it, they do know who I am and behave differently when attended by someone else, or even if someone else is in the room. They (mostly) don't see me as a threat...Shot some great Black Mamba video last night. She was very relaxed with me when not feeding and feeding.
AL!!! HOLY SH*(& !!! Are you located in PA??? I noticed you say "welcome to Pennsylvania"... Did you obtain this specimen in PA, or are you located in PA??!
I would LOVE to see your collection in person? Located in PA? I will def be in contact with you if so! =)
How are Burmese King Cobras different from an Indian King Cobra? Aren't they the same animal, just found in different parts of the world, or do they have distinctly different markings from the other? Beautiful snake by the way. What a gorgeous beastie.
I feel sorry for your wife if it's your habit to answer many questions in his manner. Lol! I love your sense of humor though. There are any number of snake/handler vids on youtube, and your humor is what keeps me coming back to yours.
Wowh ! - Thought have seen all your KC Videos. Now I found this Cute, charming, attractive young Lady.
She is a real beauty with this very yellow colored part. And I really love this kind of temperament. They could be hyper speedy nervious, but if you treat them right, they change into a mood of "being interested", "learning" and "curious".
Wish you a lot of nice experiences with here. It will be interesting how her lerning process and that of you both is going on. Great Clip ! - Thank's.
I can apreciate your passion and fascination for these creatures, but what happens when you are no longer around to care for them, or if any of them escape into the wild? How much did she cost you, and don't you think the snake would be better of in it's own natural habitat?
It's habitat is being distroyed as we speak. I have plenty of friends and zoo's that want animals from my collection finding homes is never a problem. They are in secure cages in a secure room and is unlikely any will escape. Winter will kill them if they did.
Yes, I sort of agree with you, but these animals do not belong in private collections. Zoo's yes. I do admire what you do though, and to be honest with you, I do have a terrible phobia with snakes!! That said, they fascinate me as well. That said, I moved to France three years ago, to a very rural area, and we see snakes here all the time! I am 43, and the only snake I ever saw in England was a dead grass snake on the road.
Here, In Western France we mainly see, grass snakes, viperine, adders and whip snakes. But the one we see more often than any, are Aesculapian snakes. Unfortunately we see a lot of them dead, or dying on the roads. They really are a beatiful snake, and it would make my day if you could post one on youtube. Keep it though mate, dont feed it to one of your cobras!!
Gracias!
Thank you! Like people these animals have their own personality. You should not get any "hot" snake unless you are properly trained. In general, Albino Cobras ( Naja kaouthia) are not so bad. Just don't get any Naja from Africa, they are totally nuts!
do you still have this particular king?...In recent videos I havent seen any kings..mainly your different varieties of "adders"...still love the work ya do...len
Yes, I have over 85 snakes in my collection. You many not see a video of some specimens for a while or several in a row. I shot some video of her last night actually, when it will air, I don't know.
what will you feed her when she grows up? will you feed her rat snakes etc like she has in the wild or try and get her on lizards, out of interest have you ever kept constrictors?, i admire and respect venomous snakes but could never keep one personally.
ive always read kings can be a bit hard to get feeding on anything other than snakes but im sure its been done?,you have a great collection though, i have a Brazilian Rainbow and am getting a BCC soon, more than enough for me to look after however i enjoy admireing your venomous snakes from the safe distance of the computer screen :)
Wow man thats amasing. I'm am someone who wonts to work with reptiles! How long dose it take to learn how to handle "hot" snakes. I handle constricters vary well, I own a ball python!
She is beautiful and has a great disposition. I know shes a hot snake but she behaves very well. I was curious what type of enclosures you use the gray ones in the background they are very nice.
Thank. I actually have plans to sell DVD quality versions of the videos. You pick the videos you like, as many that will fit on a 60 min DVD for $20 plus $5 for domestic Priority Mail shipping.

hay Al another great vid how long are you keeping her? because you said that the size well over ten feet when adult was a problem due to the size of your snake room ? thanks again keep up the great work
Well I'm not sure. It depends on her overall behavior. I'm hoping shince I have her almost from the start that she will get used to me and not pose such a problem.
