Basically they use whatever gear suits for whatever game they go play.

@ZkDeV LOL it's an AK74. You can tell by the reciever, flash hider, reciever cover, stock, and other things. I'm not as well versed on the AK variants as some, but I know a 74 from a 47. The only thing 47 about it was the magazine, which was indeed an AK47 magazine.

24 mags? Holy fuck. You wouldnt have so much stuff on if you would conserve ammunition and go for precision shots. You can reload magazines you know. All that bulk on you makes you a larger target and slows your movement. Not only that but theres more stuff on you that makes noise.

thats a hi cap Ak mag in milsim u can only use mid caps so actually each mag carry's like 130-150 bbs so averag of the range 140 times 24=3360 so thats a quarter of 14400 BBS

And that is why we role around in squads. So you dont have one guy carrying 8-12 magazines loaded, and the 40mm grenades, and the 203. Too much weight. But since your rolling around a one man platoon, then its good to be prepared than sorry =)

Yeah......That is still WAY too much. All you really need is ammo and a primary. The pistol is good but not needed. The M203 is awesome as a prop, but honestly it serves as much purpose as a rolex.

Sticking a 7.62 mag into a 74 does not make it a 47. Flashhider, gas tube etc etc is of an AK74 or Ak105. I can guarantee you he bought it as an AK74, then he just decided to use 47 mags.

Hell yeah, I'll be at Red Storm this year. I'm pumped about how close it is, right now my rig is set for 12 mags for my M4 (I couldn't afford to buy a whole new gun I decided to just get a ton of mags), my m9 as my sidearm and a fallback pistol being a co2 offbrand.
