Reminds me, gotta go get some BH ammo for my stockpile.
The Anniversary magazine is an informative look at the company and their products. But maybe I'm prejudiced - BHA is a local company, and I like to support my local businesses.
black hills contracts out to winchester to load ammo for them. at least theit match 5.56 is winchester brass and probably powder with sierra projectiles
@danthman114 Not according to Black Hill's CEO Jeff Hoffman. Because they don't make any components you will see Winchester brass as well as Starline and others in their products. If you can find it pick up a copy of Black Hill's 30th anniversary mag. It is a good read and explains their history and philosophy. Well worth the price.
Federal/american eagle is decent enough. Winchester has been kinda questionable...Ive noticed on my winchester ranger t-series (daily carry) that there is crud all packed around the primer..mind you its not a sealent..its like tumbling media when the cleaned the brass..
After looking at Winchester's garbage they are cranking out, I am almost ready to pay more. I received a box of 20 30-06 where 6 rounds were bad enough to consider a danger to fire. Crimped brass, bullets seated too far or not far enough, inconsistent crimp, damaged bullets, just about everything short of a squib load. Then, I bought some Ranger 12 gauge and the first box I opened had a massively mashed crimp that wouldn't even load in my gun.
If it's reasonably priced I'll consider it. I can't bring myself to buy ammo that's like 30-50% more expensive than the regular stuff, I shoot a lot so even single digit percentage differences in price add up. I'm not necessarily talking steel case either. More options is better, I always say.
black hills ammo has helped a lot of warriors over the years. they make the famed mk262 ammo used in mk12's and sam-r rifles. dead on accurate and reliable ammo. the quality is consistent across the board. love it
man I love your videos but this isn't...I mean...WTF man? If you typed what the guy just said, you would have got a better view response. what a waste.

They do make top shelf ammo. But come on, "mom ears". Is that like "mom jeans"?
