That open was horrible. I expect better from ABC. They need to go back to the drawing board on that one. That noise at the beginning would make me change the channel by itself. I like the pictures and the group picture at the end but the sound has to go!
If ABC acquired WHDH-TV and WSVN-TV from Sunbeam, those stations' local newscasts will still be called "7 News", but the graphics and theme music will be exactly the same as WABC's.
It has. The only thing that has changed is the version of music and graphics. Speaking of, I shall post new videos of the new graphics ASAP. Look around youtube for the new ones.

Eyewitness News -- it seems like their theme has stayed the same since the 90s.
