  • @magnusmulliner You made a great point that many people overlook; we (the consumers) control part of the market. The plastic bottled water market will go extinct if we change our DEMAND. This is basic economics.

  • Thank you Portyy85. I keep sharing about 'voting'. We do this simply with our eyes, ears, feet, wallet as well as an X on a piece of paper.

Only once people become conscious and change the meaning of what health is to them (many think it comes in a bottle and or is dependent on their Dr!) will plastics be phased out.

Let us continue becoming the change we want to see in this world...

    Sending love

  • are there shampoos made out of glass?

  • Great Q greatwin15,

I don't know of any! If you're referring to the containers, they're mostly plastic.

  • @greatwin15 okay well shampoo first of all is not goos for your hair at all you should switch to apple cider viniger and baking soda ok it up been using it for over a month and its great...all the items pretty much on the product is doing harm,,,,I'd rather use natural products instead of chemical stuff.

  • have you taken the time to look at what goes in to making a plastic botle or a glass bottle

to make a glass bottle will use up so much energy and burn so much fuel or coal to produce this is bad for the environment

to make one glass bottle you could 1000 bottles in plastic this is energy i would like to C the world save

For all the plastics going in to the ocean this is not the plastics fault it would be you or me

recycled plastic can be use again and again

so dont throw it away recycle it

  • You raise some interesting points here and I am in agreement with the 'plastics fault' bit. I feel my real message was not heard. Using plastic will cause harm to you (esp. reusing BPA, Dioxins, Xenoestrogens, etc), the water supply with these chemicals, our lands and airways. From 1 point of view glass can be reused with no harm to us. I hear what you have said about production of glass and I have not looked at this. Thank you for your comments. Create a great loving w/end. With Qi

  • @leyland7 Recycling is certainly helpful. That is virtually irrefutable. However, people in the world do have Free Energy Technology. Nikola Tesla created this over 70 years ago, however JP Morgan saw no monetary value in it. I believe that in the distant future we will have free energy thus allowing us to create things while biodiversity remains natural. Until then, remember the 3 R's from grade school.

  • Wow learned alot about plastics. Thanks for the information. Great video, shared it on my Facebook.

  • Thank you Amanda. I forgot to mention there's a plastic with the number 6. Usually used in coffee/tea machines. Very poor quality plastic... then we add boiling water...

  • Good to know about the coffee machine! I never thought of it, mine is made out of very cheap plastic. I do not drink coffee anymore so I should just give it away along with my microwave that I do not use. I purchase all my foods in either paper or glass. No more plastic! ;-)

  • Great ideas Amanda. if you can use glass or ceramic or stone. I'm told brass is good to contain liquid too.

Coffee doesn't serve everyone. Ensure if you do drink it, that it's organic. So many pesticides and the like are sprayed on many teas and coffee products. These sprays are known carcinogens! I drink Pau Darco, peppermint, camomile herbal teas. Fruity teas may not be good for your teeth! ;-)
