I have a AMD X2 Dual Core 5200+ - 2GB 800MHZ - ATI Radeon 4870.

I can play AION on Maximum Settings.

And yes,my CPU? May not be the newest,but it is a very good Computer and Work Fast and Perfect.

I have not really try it in Mass-PvP Fights.

Well you have one great gaming Rig there if you ask me. But is that game really Graphics intensive?

I would say yes.

It has wonderful graphic/effects/animations ... perfect shadows.. glowing/living everywhere.

If you want to run it in Maximum Settings,you really need a "decent?" Computer.

And i guess,you will need a good graphic card too.

But im not the Profi with Computers,there is so many Graphic Cards outside.
