@vytong: Close, but not exactly. The person who made Dragon Ball (Akira Toriyama), is the main art directory for the Dragon Quest series. He's not actually involved in the production of the game itself, so he is not the person that "[made] Dragon Quest".

If you want to get into the specifics, Akira Toriyama's Bird Studio did the artwork for Dragon Quest (and Chrono Trigger, Blue Dragon and Dragon Ball, and a few other mangas), while Yuji Horii and his Armor Project studio created the actual gameplay and storylines.

It's a card game for the Wii, only in Japan.

Several parts of the clip are special attacks performed by famous characters of the franchise.

Anyway, this is just awesome.

@EpicExplosionTime Er. This isn't anything to do with DQX. This is cut scenes from the Arcade Card Game they released, done up as a fake music video. DQX is a Wii and WiiU game, which is very similar to DQ9 with online play.

Dragon Ball lacked dragons when I think about it. One piddly GT saga with humanoid dragons was all they had. Eh, I guess dragons aren't the only thing Toriyama draws well. ^_^
