sadly yes you broke it. you cant charge AAA batteries. maybe put in new batteries

just use the extended battery pck last 8-10 hours more that the regular battery for just 40 dollas(plus comes with 2 shells to cover the battery(Black/silver)

i have rechargeble batterys like those, and they have 2500mA. does this mean that 3 bateries have 7500, and thus can last alot longer? longer than the masive 2200mA original psp battery?

No it won't. You'd need to wire them in parallel. If you wanted 3.7 volts at 7500 mah capacity, you'd need nine 2500 batteries. That would look really funny hanging off the back of your psp. Believe me, I've built my own battery packs for years. Fuck all that, you're better off with the lithium that it comes with. If you need a spare, buy one. I doubt this guy even gets an hour out of this battery.

I think that if so many people want slim devices, someone should come up with some kind of standard battery that the really small stuff uses. think cell phone batteries, but a standard size that fits a variety of slim devices like cell phones, mp3 players and such

a mod??? lol, just three aaa battery to each other with a cord, and put the minus end on minus of the psp and plus on plus, the third little thing on the psp's battery holder is just for battery infomation, moron.

a kid on 7 could do that, oh, THAT way (with the aaa/aa(dosent matter) batteries) you still need 0,5 volt, so if you play a game online, it'll act wierd (i didn't try it, i just know)

2 answers:

1.) Nothing

2.) Time varies, depening on whether you use the psp to watch videos, play music, or play games. It also depends slightly on the volume the psp is set to, and the screen backlight has a big effect on time consumption.

He wanted to use AAA's coz u can carry EXTRA batteries with u. then if it runs out of power, which happens rather quickly on a psp (2 1/2 hours) U dont have to wait for it to charge u can just use triple A's. What sony should have done would be to have the psp accept regular AAA's and include RECHARGEABLE ones with it. (and have the psp charge rechargeable triple A's when plugged in) I've seen RECHARGEABLE AAA's for as little as $10 which is cheaper then the special batteries for the PSP.

How about when you're on a long trip? and, what if you travel overseas? I know you can buy another charger that will work down there, but thats just more money to spend. I have an external battery holder that does 2 AA batteries. It actually works pretty well. I just used some velcro to attach it to the back.
