  • Impressive for just the base model Mustang.

  • Why chrome wheels ??????

  • You're crazy if you hate on either of these cars!

  • how much did the fuckin passenger weigh 600 lbs? How does the mustang walk by 2-3 cars and then lose by 1 when the TA has no passenger? Not knocking the TA I love them

  • trans am ws6 maybe looks fucking ugly but is fast.

  • Love the Mustang, also love my 95 LT1 camaro. Im not stock by no means (12.3 now a personal best). But its fun as hell when I roll upon a new Stang (stock of course) and laugh like hell when the kids Nerd rage over losing to me. You;d be surprised how many people are ignorant to performance parts. Anyways my 95 has 119,000 on her and the only rattle I get is when I pick up some BAD gas.....

  • If the 5.0 was manual it wouldn't have been close.

  • @Chojnacj Why do you say that? The manuals are no faster than the 6-speed automatics.

  • @steppnstone629 they actually are, not as much hp loss with a manual

  • @jordtizzle The gearing is really good in the new 6-speed autos. Not sure if they're running faster ETs (on average) due to being easier to drive or what.

  • That must have been one fat ass passenger.

  • Weight in a firebird ta always plays a huge factor.

  • Some one said that the ws6 is 350 and Stang is 302, think about the fact that the ls1 is pushrod vs the 5.0 being dohc with 4 valves per cylinder and 4 cams. And the mileage difference. But needless to say that was a Damn good race.

  • I can't speak for all F-bodies of course. But my '02 Trans Am doesn't rattle and it'll run it's ass off stock. The 5.0 Stang is a good looking car that definitely has power but I'll take my T/A any day along with my 24 mpg.

  • To anyone arguing via the internet about the former F-body twins being superfast etc...they were great cars in their time... hp per dollar hands down. The LS1 could dyno anywhere from 275rwhp - 305 rwhp. Enough to run mid to low 13's (good driver) they would trap about 104-107 mph in the 1/4 mile. A stock 2011 5.0 dyno's about 360rwhp (auto) to 380 rwhp (manual) and are capable of high 12's at 110-114+ mph with a decent driver..

It would take min mods for the ws6 to make it a drivers race

  • @TheMcBlackster Fwiw, my 01 SS automatic ran 12.5 at 110 with a lid, tune, and cat-back. It went 12.42 at 111mph with LTs and those mods, street tires, stock stall. Just saying, LS1s are running low 13s stock and 12s with a couple basic mods. The 5.0 is badass and no doubt faster mod for mod, but the decade old LS1s are nipping at its heels.

  • 5.0 all the way trans am suks

  • Its 350ci with intake & exhaust mods & 6spd which robs less hp than the auto in the mustang that is stock and only has 302ci that probably isn't even broke in yet. Just said i wouldn't talk sh!t like some ppl are

  • GM ppl are funny, talking sh!t because a modified car with a bigger motor and 6spd beat a little 302 bone stock auto. Go ahead and brag if it makes ya feel good..lol

  • @logut80 The pontiac only had exhaust.. The 5.0 comes stock with Shorty Headers and more HP and the weight is about the same.. And the TA Is about 10 years old.. I would say its pretty fair...

  • no big win here for the Mustang.. 412hp vs 315 for the Firebird.

  • I love how when people see their mustang lose to a 10 year old far cheaper car they try to insult the engineering and durability. BTW my (5x cheaper than that mustang) z28 Camaro doesn't rattle and gets better MPG after 10 years than that does new.

  • In this segment, GM has been kicking ass since 1993, Ford, 2011.

It is my opinion that the 2011+ GT (hell, V6) is one hell of a car.

  • Not surprising that the 5.0 won. It's ten years younger than the ws6 and has all manner of new gear in it. Ford stepped up it's game with the 5.0. As far as the ws6 goes, your car will only be as good as you make it. Stock the ws6 should lose to a new 5.0, but any car can be modded right to go fast. If you wanna win races you have to dedicate the time and money. People have preferences so if you like f-bodies then get one, if you like mustangs get one. bashing a car is dumb.

  • @tremendoustomato Won? oh you mean one like the number... as in the number of races the Mustang just beat the T/A with a fair start. The rest the T/A beat it basically with the equivalent of a K&N filter, when it was equal (no passengers) and most importantly realistic (from a roll). How many times will you come to a dead stop in the freeway when these two titans meet? Zero. T/A is more impressive given those facts. Just an opinion I suppose..

  • what a stupid race. the mustang was an auto..the F-body was a manual. of course the F-body is going to win. the camaro was in his powerband and the mustang had to downshift... HAHAHAHAHA and he thinks his car is faster? Get real and race from a dig.... oh wait.. you did and LOST!!!!

  • @angeldemon821 Hey moron the auto works in the stangs favor.. And a dig? Get real and race from a dig? How many times when these titans meet at random ON THE ROAD AND FREEWAY, are you going to come to a complete halt then race them? Well I suppose if you want to total those nice cars go ahead. But you will race from a roll realistically. And the T/A held it's own in that standpoint. I will race you in my T/A and "oh wait.. you did and LOST!!!!"

  • TRANS AM BUILD FAIL AND DIVER FAIL LOSER

  • rattling? wtf are you assholes talking about? i own a 2000 WS6, bought it new. i ain't never had a fucking rattle, or shake or any other bullshit. after 11 years, i have replaced the battery and a power window motor.a stock 5.0 has 412 hp, a stock WS6 is 325 and weighs more, of course the 5.0 has the edge. fuck ford, i'll stick with my t/a.

  • @reignman2112 I agree.. Its these idiots that pay $1000 for a v6 '94 F body with 170,000+ miles on them. I own an 02 WS.6 and share the same experience with it you do.

  • Gangrel lol

  • Love them both! But I like the trans am better. These new 5.0s are impressive!

  • I love mustangs.. win or lose, I will always love the stang!!

  • T/A fucking sucks piss of shit

  • actually a roll race will tell you what car is actually faster it takes alot of the driver out of it

  • That must of been a very heavy passenger, lol.

  • Not bad for the GT 5.0 considering it was bone stock.

  • I used to have a modded LT1 Z28 that put down about the same amount of power as this LS1 firehawk and currently own a 2011 Mustang GT with intake, tune and exhaust. The Mustang is WAY faster than the 4th gen f-body. No comparison. Oh yeah, the camaro rattled to all hell as well.

  • Would have been a lot better if the Trans Am would lose the ugly ass ghetto wheels.

  • I don't believe this!

  • Id take the 5.0 stang over the ws6 any day its all about the driver and the 5.0 has more potential when modded

  • Not bad for a trans am that is close to stock keeping up with Ford's new GT. The LS1 is just a great engine. Who cares about how much your car rattles if you're winning the race?

  • @Chris02LS1ss Lol, the LS didn't win. The stang took both dig races. The dig races are the only ones worth credit. The LS is alright, but the new 5.0 can put out just as much WITHOUT rattling and sounding like sh!t.

  • @Chris02LS1ss Some of us like driving nice cars that have a good build quality.

  • @raditz5 Btw a passenger does not make that much difference. Who the hell did you have in your car "Fat Bastard"?

  • @raditz5 what? anyone with a regular job can afford a 5.0 get out of here with that shit. I know 18 year olds who work regular paying hourly jobs that have 5.0's they aren't anything to think your better then someone because you own. I would love to see you come to Cali and think your special because you have a 5.0, I see Veyrons, SLRs, Lambos and 458's on daily basis........just stop we call 5.0's rental cars around here

  • @HDFlixx no we dont man i live in la a rental is a honda ..42 thousand isnt cheap so feel proud of ur 5.0s people

  • Comment removed

  • @HDFlixx Fair enough. I just do not think a passenger makes a difference like video shows. BTW I LOVE Trans ams. Nice car.

  • @raditz5 every 100 lbs in the car is about 1 tenth of a second, which is around 1 car lenght if your drag racing

  • @raditz5 i can afford a mustang anyday of the week but i still buy three f bodies before i buy one so whats tthat say for you i got a 95 ta a 2000 camaro and a ws6 is gonna be my next purchase there both faster than my brothers 2011 5.0

  • WOW... Even today, the WS6 is STILL the hottest looking ride on the road. It's nice to see the ,WS6 holding its own 10 years later with today's competition. Though, I'd love to drop my LS3 in that WS6 and see what happens...

  • When i was a teen i loved the LS1 F-Bodies but they were and still are one of the biggest pieces of shit on the road. My Firehawk rattled all the freakin time. Was fast as hell just a POS with a big engine

  • @BlackTTC6 very true man I got my first LS1 F-Body in highschool that thing was a rattlebox on wheels with power

  • @HDFlixx lol. sounds like what my dad said about some of the first cars he owned. he said all the cars he owned 80-90s that were american suck. he said the gm cars he used to buy monte carlo, olds 442, etc. he said had all had the electric gremlins and were just built very poorly. he said best: 1972 chevy nova. what do you guys think about a 99 corvette? good car? saving up for one.

  • @HDFlixx What did you get a salvage one with the whole ass missing because it was hit by an 18 wheeler? You obviously didn't have ones like the four 4th gen F bodys I own. 1997 SLP Z28/SS, 1993 Z28 Automatic stock, 1993 Z28 Ported heads with supporting mods 390HP to the ground and doesnt rattle a bit handles that shit like its bored. And not least a 2002 T/A WS.6 Black on black all stock. Like a new car. None of which are "rattlebox" es.

  • @KOTHVETTE406 So you would deffinately recommend an F-body? Like say a 98-02 Pontiac Trans Am? I ask because that's what my money is being saved up for right now because I loved those cars ever since I was a kid (20 years old now) and I want to make sure that I wont be dissapointed by anything.

  • @AnAngryBlack im 19 now man and i have a 2000 camaro ss with headers ls6 intake and 373 gears and i basically yank everything on the road and its not a rattle box im a 90k miles. mines auto as well there awesome cars

  • @KOTHVETTE406 very true I have a 2000 trans am ls1 rocks runs awesome..i drive it 40 mins each way for work no rattles thats super car lol it not ws6

  • @HDFlixx How much did it cost ya? been looking for a couple months for a clean F-body. All the ones for 7-8k are usually turds and everything that is clean and unmolested is way over priced. Its stupid to pay 10k+ on a car thats a decade old.

  • @BlackTTC6 your a fucking idiot u didnt take care of ur car only reason it rattled u fucking spicks

  • @BlackTTC6 You had a Firehawk rattlebox? Oh yeah is that right? Well I had a Gibson Les Paul Custom shop that played, sounded and looked like shit.. Damn I so wish I would have bought a shitty pawned yamaha guitar ('88 civic hatch) instead. FAIL!

  • Congratulations!! You are the 100th person to view my message. To see your prize please click Control + W.

  • 1st thing, get rid of those ugly ass ghetto rims, 2nd thing learn to honk while racing lol

  • gangrel theme song.thumbs up if you know what im talking about.

  • Lol it's sad that the Trans had to have a much larger engine and more aero dynamic. And there is the drivers.

  • @2008shelbysupersnake yea we run more liters but run sohc. the 5.0 is dohc with 32 valves

  • BTW, my son has a 2003 Mustang Mach 1(300hp), he beat a 500+hp Ford GT 500 at the track. Difference, Mach1 had slicks, GT 500 street tires.

  • I noticed from a dead stop that the traction control did its job, killing all the bottom end power of the 412 hp GT on street tires. From a roll, the Mustang pulled away, even with a driver that can shift gears about as fast as I can on a 3 ton truck!!!

  • 5.0 mustang = RAPE

  • I hear you (LSX01NATION),I not sure what my stock wires are(delco),but I wouldnt, buy I STONGLY recommend a 8mm wire.plus most of the 8.8mm or 8mm wires come with a lifetime warranty, and are about $20-$30 cost more then delco, which are not cheap.Im a store mgr.of advance auto parts.hey my t/a and all the rest of ls1 people need all the advantage we can get.I still say a stall converter and a 3:73(auto),or 4:10 gear swap will give the 5.0 hell at the track.

  • i want to run a new 5.0 myself next year. while im stock. and my trans am is a 99 so "rated" at 305 crank hp. but good vid. trans am needs to get rid of those heavy ass show car wheels

  • doesn't make much since, the trans am and 5.0 weigh the same and the t/a has 325 hp and the 5.0 412, and new automatics are just as fast as manuals now....doesn't add up?

  • @FlowmasterGP sense*

  • Respond to this video... You cant just look up what each cars hp rating is and go from there. The automatic 5.0s are not as fast as the 6-speeds, the ls1 is underrated and there is more to just hp and weight to decide a winner. Aerodynamics, gearing, power band, driver skills.

  • @FlowmasterGP they do not weigh the same but close ,the trans ams are lighter.

  • First of all it was the same replay at the end, so the WS6 just won once. The camera man was also VERY far from the action, the WS6 could have jumped the start just to make it seem like he won but cheated. I just saw a mustang 5.0 own a trans am 2 times in a row, and at the end he was catching up. You should had a race while in the mustang so we could really see :P Both cars are american muscle and i love em, but you have to admit, its kinda fishy : /

  • Let's see an automatic ws6 vs a 6 speed mustang.....

  • @mkonecsni Visit my page. I have a 2001 Camaro Z28 4 speed auto vs a 2011 Mustang GT 6 speed manual. Check to see who wins. ;)

  • i beat my friends 2001 ws6 trans am all day long in my 5.0 mine is stock his has exhaust and air intake both 6 speeds

  • LOL, that's not a closed course.

  • put a manual transmission in that 5.0 and see what happens.... automatics suck

  • to run mid 12s in a T/A automatic,takes torque converter(2800-3400 stall),gear 373,6speed car need 4.10 gears,full exhaust (long tube headers and catback) air filter lid,tuner diablo,ngk plugs,

    8mm wires,frame connectors,to run low 12,add drag radials.for the near future,invest in 12 bolt,or my favorite is a ford 9inch. the stock 10 bolt,wont hold up under the launching at this point,too much.to go in 11s,small 150 nitros,cheap power,or head and cam swap.ls6 heads,and a good comp cam.

  • @ls1man1 the stock wires are fine no need to buy aftermarket ones. There guys with 4-5-600 hp who run stock wires.

  • one of the reason,G.M.stop building the camaro/trans am in 02 was, that the sales were down to s.u.v.,and the market wasnt buying them much between 1998-2002.

Im proud the camaro back.here in michigan they is one on every corner seems like.

which makes me more proud when I cruise the streets here in my 01 ws6 ram-air sunset orange T/A,us owners no that the market resale is high on these birds,I will be posting my videos own mine next month.plus I get offers own it everytime i go to car shows.

  • ford 302(5.0) in the 87-93,could always ran good.even in the muscle books back then, they would say that a head and cam swap with slicks, could put you in the mid 11s.I own a ws6 sunset ram air orange auto.and I remember my cousin 92 5.0 mustang 5 speed, holeshooting me two cars.I cant hate,I was piss.I pick him up in the mid range, and beat him in the quarter, but mustang 5.0 have always been a nice powerplant.

  • So basically, a minor exhaust mod on a WS6 makes it keep up w/ the new 5.0. And it even has the 6spd. From what I've heard, the 4spd autos in the old T/As were faster than the manuals.

  • To me it looked like both drivers could use some more practice. Both cars looked pretty even to me. I have a T/A that's stock other than flowmasters and smoked the srt challenger and the new ss camaro. Haven't had the chance to race the new mustang yet.

  • I been aching to go at it with one of those new 5.0s don't really care if I loose I just want to see them run

  • TA has to be far from stock or the 5.0 driver sucks, those things were fast in the 90's and early turn of the century. I own a Boss 302 and I can tell you right now every TA WS6 I've been next to wanted no part of it.......and I haven't even did anything yet.

  • /facepalm ford... seriously?

  • driver of the TA wasnt even getting on it thats bullshit

im a ford man all the way but i know what them TA's will do

and it would have smoked that stock mustang no prob

  • @blustickman You do realize there was also a turn right after the "finish line", right? They kinda had that to worry about, too.

  • ford rapes all...get over it!

  • rims are too heavy. still wouldve lost but not by that much

  • @000x7 I'm not really sure what you're getting at. The TA's rims? It won the races. And since when did rim weight really play a part in much of anything? That's like saying the engine is too heavy.

  • not a fair race. The mustang is an automatic and the WS6 is a 6 speed. Have both cars be manual transmissions and see who is the victor then.

  • i think it was the driver of that mustang

  • nice ws6 but come on man take those ugly wheels off and put the factorys back on.

  • wtf is this 10/15 mph roll bullshit.

  • @Halocon Any stalled automatic with a shift kit will outperform a manual. The only reason I drive a manual is because they are more fun on the road. Are you in high school or something? That's usually the crowd that thinks autos are for pussies and whatnot.

  • street racing out in the middle of the desert... now thats some need for speed shit right there.

  • The passenger looks hot.

  • THE BROOD haha awesome music

  • My trans am would kill both of these its not stock though

  • I've beat a 2009 stang gt with ecu exhaust and headers at 4500ft in reno with my stock WS6..... c'mon out if you want some, it isn't stock anymore

  • @criefus that 09 is way slower than these 2011 GT's. 184 to the wheels in a full interior, 2500lb civic coupe can beat the 05-09 GT pretty bad. like 4 car lengths once hitting 150 MPH where the 05-09 GT is governed. and i still had another gear left.... just saying.

but who knows, ive seen close to stock WS6 run high 12's, and the new 5.0 with a good driver, low elevation, can run 12.7

  • ugly or not its still won,....

  • those could be the ugliest wheels on the ws6 that i have ever seen on any car. ever

  • I knew an LS1 could beat a new 5.0.

  • @SSCamaroMan345 lol, fake shit. The Mustang was clearly walking away in the first two races. No way in hell the LS1 overcame that by getting rid of the passenger, unless the passenger weighed two tons.

  • @CerebrumPedere You obviously aren't aware of physics then, a 300 lb driver vs a 150lb driver in the exact same car, same hp and everything will lose to the 150lb driver. Judging by the weight of the new 5.0 for new safety features and the weight of the LS1 built for 2001 safety features it would definitely make a difference without a passenger weighing who knows what. My camaro with 3 passengers, spare tire and full tank of gas weighs 3800lbs, how much does that 5.0 weigh is the question.

  • @SSCamaroMan345 5.0 should be 200lbs more than the LS1, but your explanation could also work against you... LS1 driver could be fatter than the 5.0 driver... MY thing is the VCT system really should have helped the 5.0 stay with the LS1 than pass it... LS1 are still a drivers race but the 302 should win regardless if on equal footing. In all honesty, everything is a drivers race... LOL

  • @Texarmageddon What is one day for you can one day be against you, yeah it is and all I want is to race one so I can prove to myself who would win. I'm sure its defeat but to what extent.

  • @SSCamaroMan345 The stang carries a 3605lb curb weight. You don't necessarly need to race a 5.0, if you find a new Camaro SS, that's usually within a car length either way with the 5.0. And you will never see a 5.0 walk away from a new SS like it walked away from the WS6 (6 lengths?). If the WS6 gets the jump, you end up with the last two races, WS6 win by 1 length.

  • @SSCamaroMan345 a STOCK ls1 can not beat a new302......

  • @hootieti What organization proved that? Last I checked it was street drivers vs. street drivers, I haven't raced a new 5.0 yet but I still feel I'll win or be damn close.

  • @SSCamaroMan345 what organization? there is a video of the new camaro getting smoked by one. stock for stock. i am a street racer, have been for years. seen it too many times, a stock ls1 can NOT beat a new 5.0.

  • @hootieti Stock '02 WS6 12.9 and stock 5.0 12.7, pretty fuckin' close!!!!!

  • @PONTIACMUSCLE1 yet not a win....not a win. and the ford is STILL a smaller motor. put a new 351 in the ford and that tranny is toast. chevy keeps bumping the motors up and ford keeps them the same and still beating them.....i dont hate on the things, but its due where its due....oh and better gas mileage.

  • @hootieti The last 2 races were a win, the Ford would've won if the T/A was stock. Pushrod engines always get better gas mileage than SOHC/DOHC.

  • @PONTIACMUSCLE1 you dont know how many races it took for them to get that thing in front of the mustang...they could have raced twenty times before that happened. 2. you dont know how they took off from the start cause the races is video taped at the end. you cant make that assumption by a video at the end of the race. the start has too much to do with it, to judge by that factor.

  • @hootieti Dude, your argument is lame and false. Fords are not still beating GM products on speed with the same motors. And I DON'T hate on the Fords because I own a few. Facts are facts, and you need to grab hold to some. GEEZ.

  • @PONTIACMUSCLE1 12.9, seriously?? With what, a full exhaust and cai on a perfect run? T/As are fast, but not that quick. Yes, we all know they destroyed rustangs then. Any T/A I drive before, you'll be lucky to hit 13.5 on a good day.

  • @hondanissan4life Yes I am serious. 12.9-13.1 with a good driver. Car and Driver ran a 13.1 too.

  • @hondanissan4life If you do your research their are plenty of LS1 f body's breaking the 13 second barrier. Mostly depends on the health of the motor, driver quality, and track conditions/elevation. It is Most definitely possible though.

  • @need2speed94 Just makes me want to own one even more now. At least of all the "affordable" V8s, the F-bodies have the real one.

  • @hondanissan4life Definitely. An LS1 is a great motor. They make great power stock and it doesnt take much to make big power, not to mention they can fit into a bunch of cars normal V8s couldn't. It's just a great all around motor that even with a mild amount of work done can be a Serious competitor.

  • @hondanissan4life You wont be dissapointed they are amazing cars! Especially for the money.

  • let haters hate.

  • noo way! 10 years old and still beats mustangs thats a good one!

  • you buying an auto 5.0 is like me paying for an escort and tallking to her for an hr

  • No way. I'm calling BS. Everyone knows the 5.0 is unbeatable.

  • LS1 taking the win again. History keeps repeating itself...... for a long time :)

  • 5.0 automatic... prolly not even 3.73 racing gears... otherwise the stang would stomp that ass

  • Now try against a 6 speed!

  • Comment removed

  • daum a passenger made a big difference !

  • pontiac for life

  • im corvette chevy all the way but the dohc tech that ford has is amazing, im close to doing a 5.4 or 4.6dohc sc swap in my z06 those motors are awesome

  • The new 5.0s are very quick without the s/c. Chevy guys can't talk shit on that anymore. When it comes down to ti tho I'd rather have the T/A. I think it's just a better looking car and it is gonna be a collectible here in the future.

  • @67ShelbyMustang500 So true. I'm chevy to the bone but respect stangs but just seems to be too many of them out there. G.M. lost money with the WS6. Cost them more to build it than the vette in 02. main reason why they axed it. I have a loaded WS6 02 and bought it knowing there are only 18K made and half of them are gone by now. price will go up for a clean one

  • @scannerguy1968 yep your right very few are left and the one I want is one of the rarest ones. It's the sunset orange metallic with a six speed. After I finish paying off my 98 mustang and 06 Vrod I'm gonna be looking for a T/A. BTW wth is the deal with all these chevy guys calling mustangs ruststangs or shitstangs. I do belive a stang just beat a T/A and every car is gonna rust no matter what the make and model is.

  • @67ShelbyMustang500 Yeah, maybe the name calling is for provoking. No One manufacturer is way ahead of the other for H.P. or tech. My friend is hitting high 11's on a '90 stang with all motor 302 and he downgrades chevy bad. I'm sure my ws6 will make it into the 12's with drags. I have just headers and slp exhaust now but will take a good cam, new clutch and rear to get close to him. Which I won't do due to wanting it close to stock 4 value.Love the LS1 but admit the 302 old & new is a beast.

  • I would take the pontiac over the rustang any day.

  • neither of you homos know how to launch

  • ls1 are 346 cubic in.

  • ws6 and ss camaros from 1998-2002,are still powerplants to be reckon with.

    I had mine WS6 for 9 years.with 2800 stall and 3:73 gears,runs 12:70,on 19 inchrims,with 255/40 on all fours.

  • I have a 2001 ws6,thats stock with Automatic trans,that been running consistantly,13.40s-13.50et,with stock 3:23 gears,this 6 speed is ws6,with the bolt ons,should beat the 5.0 from the 10mph-and 15mph roll.to out perform it from launch,it might need a 4:10 gears,and softer street tires

  • @ls1man1 Sorry. My stock 5.0 runs 12.60's @114 so you would be toast. I have 3.55 gears.

  • @Dcratchat lmfao. You sir are Moron. LS1's aren't 350's. :D

  • Man its ridiculous how much just 1 passenger can make a difference. Every time I go out in my Z32 with my buddy who weighs 250 I avoid racing because with him in the car I usually get beat.

  • haaaaaaaaahaha yea thats wat i said was the fuckin passsenger 500 fuckin lbs???? no WAY do i believe this shit of a video because ive seen the two race and it is a waaaaay diff outcome!! hahahahahah this vid is funny hahahha

  • WS6's r still fast...such a strong car.

  • I bet you GM boys cant stand the fact that your all mighty 350's are gettin spanked by a little 5.0!

  • @dcratchat a 48 c.i difference. really? its not like that little 5.slow won anyways.

  • @motostud08 It sure looked like it did to me in the 2nd race where the WS6 "Bogged down" lol. So the thing can't launch for shit so they do 10/15mph rolls. Because when I go to the 1/4 track and drag race, everyone does 15mph rolls off the starting line! LOL Also hilarious the guy seems to blame his fat girlfriend slowing his car down.

  • @malkowskitube the car didnt bog, the driver in the ws6 is just a poor driver as far as launch ability goes. And a person weighing over 100lbs can cause up to a car length difference. Either way look at an 01 gt vs an 01 ws6 and now look ten years in the future and look at the 11 gt against this 01 ws6. I love ws6's (had 2) but I definitely like and respect the new 5.0's even though I'm a foxbody lover.

  • get those gay ass rims off the Trans Am. you mess up the ratios when you change the size of your rims.

  • @XHikotheproX

Distance = Tire circumference/(Gear Ratio Transmission * Gear Ratio Differential)

All of this multiplied by the time it takes to make 1 revolution of the tire is the speed. So what's the difference (with respect to "ratios") in having a 19" rim with 3" of tire and 16" rims with 6" of tire? Still the same circumference?

  • @JClever20 that may be true, but how do you know thats the case for this car?

  • @JClever20 Its probably not the case, theres probably less than 3 inches of tire on that Trans Am and the rims are prob in the 20's. normally trans ams have a little over 4 inches of tire and 16's ( i know this cus i have an 01 Formula)
