I LOVE the wings but i have a lot of respect for the never give up style of the sharks and i hope a red wings sharks western final happens. it will be spectacular!

just watch, i know the sharks havent done well in the playoffs, but i guarantee they will be a lot hungrier and angrier next year because now they have something to prove. If the Sharks play as well as they do in the regular season and have that fire in them, the Sharks will get to the finals, and the red wings wont be anywhere near it.

Good thoughts, but Thornton doesnt want to be captain. I think Blake or Boyle would make good ones. Blake is a free agent but he wantes to come back so that realy helps. I want Marleau to stay, but your right, he shouldnt be captain, he aint cut out for it. And with Ehrhoff, its funny because you love him and hate him at the same time. He makes a lot of bad mistakes but then he makes up for it with some real good plays, so if he stayed thats ok, if he left,wont hurt me.Other than that well be ok

what the hell are u talking about? the wings are way the hell more experienced than the sharks, and are way better. the ducks beat the sharks in round one, and we come along and the wings beat the ducks in round 2. we are obviously the better team. the funny thing is that the refs always go against the wings, and we still get close to winning a game, or we win it.

A little biased here right now arent we? If the Red Wings were so much better, why were the Sharks the Presidents Trophy winners? And in the playoffs, the Sharks got cocky and they paid for it. But if they werent and played 100%, would they be a team you would want the Red Wings to play against?

ok.......i didnt say anything about the penguins or the cup, how did detroit not do shit? they go all the way to round 4, or the finals, and almost take that game 7, the last game no matter what, no calls on the wings side either, dont know if they could get more fucked, and where were the sharks? oh yes, they were out since round one. ur forgetting that it was opposite last year, the sharks were second, the wings were first. quit acting like the top seeds are the competition, cuz 8th beat 1st.

Umm. No, he wasn't. From the rulebook:

"A player is off-side when both skates are completely over the leadingedge of the blue line involved in the play. A player is on-side when either of his skates are in contact with, or on his own side of the line, at the instant the puck completely crosses the leadingedge of the blueline regardless of the position of his stick."

His skate was clearly on the blue line so the call was correct.
