@599manuel NO TE LA COMPRES! la 8500gt es considerada una POS (piece of shit, en ingles "pedazo de mierda") su unica gracia fue ser de las primeras introducidas al mercado "barato" de directx 10. Te podrias comprar una Nvidia de la serie 7000 (la anterior) que aunque siendo mas vieja te va a correr mejor los juegos. Intenta ahorrar un poco y te puedes comprar una 8800, ahora estan bien baratas.

ah got a aquestion i have intel core 2 duo 2.2ghz soon an 2,8 :P and an Nvidia geforce 8500 gt overclocked and i can play this game at 1280x768 with 4x AA and settings all to extra and all on with 30-50 fps..why?? i cant understand and i wanna upgrade to as 9500 gt tbh cuz of the stability of the overclocking better quality and frames:))

to increase fps you don't have to use any antialising or v'sync (no shadows and specular maps for really low cards) with just a 800x600 res with high textures

remove the specular map and shadows off, put your res at 720x480 anti-alias 2x or none, the framerate will go up.

I did that and i get a lot of performance but the game looks ugly without no shine or shadows !

well you can turn on the shadows. but when you also turn the specular map at the same time, it will really lag..its better for me to turn on the shadows :]

Mine has a little overclock so it runs a little better 20% increase in performance !!

Eu tambem tenho uma 8500, e achei que iria rodar legal mas me surpreendi.

estou rodando 1024x768, AA: 2x, extra extra extra fica com FPS entre 50 25.

I get an average 30 fps !! In some simpler zones and when not many explosions, actions are going on i get a lot like 100 and something !!
