the media segment was stupid. all they said was "the media is bad." it's such a cliche, and they did nothing to actually discredit the medias claims -- because they are using facts. the only thing they have on the media is that they sensationalize things, and would they not sensationalize things they would never have our attention. it would aid our apathy.. and did the sympathizers propose any solutions? no. they said: "don't be mean people."

you, like me, are an anomaly. and in this particular case aljazeera is sensationalizing corporate influence -- so they aren't immune from sensationalizing either. in general, they do it a lot less but they still do it. humans are natural exaggerators and naturally drawn to exaggeration.

the border is an important issue, just like entitlements are an issue. it needs to be talked about and if people need to be lured to it with a sideshow, so be it.

well that is the biggest political divide today. and we can only be divided along seemingly subjective things. corporate paranoia and influence is one of those subjective things(that with debate that i'm not willing to have, i think, becomes objective). to each his own.

maybe one day you can become a media giant and undue the sensationalizing, yet be sustainable.
