  • Halloween is a great classic.

  • @Darkartisan84 i agree, right next to psycho.

  • @Darkartisan84 I so agree with you Halloween is a classic that has stood the test of time, John Carpenter and Debra Hill knew how to do a good horror movie. The Fog is in my is another classic by the same director.

  • @Findyoursanctuary i agree with you on the fog. i hated the remake of it though.

  • @ronfrrll73 Definitely, I was so disappointed with the remake it lacked the atmosphere that Carpenter was so good at creating.

  • @immortalinvisible get it if you can find it used or at a cheap price.

  • cheers ron awesome review i picked this up cheep early this year glad i found it cheers bro huge thumbs up as always cheers

  • @elcarohw thanks buddy.

  • @mm51688 thanks for the comment. It is a great edition.

  • the extended version is the way to go in my honest opinion, i think it makes for a better film overall..........it"s just kickass

  • @smackenjack I agree, thanks sj.

  • cool ass vid ron and yeah i have seen this version before when they use to play it on the usa network and i was like where the hell these scenes come from, because i don"t remember it being on mine and come to find out they were shot 2 years after the original had come out, so i"ve been looking for it for years until i found it on vhs in a thrift store for a dollar, so i plan on burning it to a dvd sometime if it will work don"t know.......we shall see

  • nice one great movie

  • @sinner48 thanks man. it's a classic.

  • The best of the added scenes in the TV version is the 1st added scene, it gives more of input into myers as Loomis's patient, the rest of the scenes were a kinda unnecessary, the UK edition ahs the Halloween unmasked 2000 as an extra feature, Top review :)

  • @COMP3LLED2KILL thanks. i think it's one of the best scenes from that edition.

  • hey man i hav ur Jason sat 13th shirt ! :), do u have Silent Night Deadly Night?

  • @mamula2637 yes, i do.

  • cheapest way to get halloween tv-version is watch amazon.uk and grab anchor bays first 2-disc uk-release, has hologram-cover like us-one and it's R0

  • @waegiz37 i'll check it out. thanks.

  • I bought mine at Movie Gallery for $10. Sadly, it never came with the insert!

  • great review, gonna look for it on amazon...

  • @TheWolfman1979 good luck.

  • o man that extended edition is impossible to find by itself 5*

  • @jackdanielss079 thanks.

  • Great idea for a video series dude! I really wish I owned that DVD! I have seen that version though, and I do like the extra scenes that they shot for TV. Rock on buddy!

  • @MrMovieNight thanks man. It's a shame that it's only on the boxset and not sold separately.

  • I love this film, but i prefer black christmas. Even though Halloween gets most credits for starting the mainstream slasher "point-of-view" filming technique, Black Christmas pre-dates it and does the same thing. Black Christmas is far darker and moodier. Ive not watched Halloween for about 3 or 4 months, so i may watch it tonite. Good review ;)

  • @splatterngore thanks.

  • @ronfrrll73 - Welcome :)

  • Nice..I just saw this the other day in the dvd collectors store near my house..I almost grabbed it..

  • @ccg1171 You should've. Or get the 30th anniversary commerotive set which I have also.

  • Great review Ron!!

It took me a long time to get this DVD,but I am so happy to have it now. Its an awesome edition to have.

  • @Rhine1988 It is, thanks justin.
