@Darkartisan84 I so agree with you Halloween is a classic that has stood the test of time, John Carpenter and Debra Hill knew how to do a good horror movie. The Fog is in my is another classic by the same director.
cool ass vid ron and yeah i have seen this version before when they use to play it on the usa network and i was like where the hell these scenes come from, because i don"t remember it being on mine and come to find out they were shot 2 years after the original had come out, so i"ve been looking for it for years until i found it on vhs in a thrift store for a dollar, so i plan on burning it to a dvd sometime if it will work don"t know.......we shall see
The best of the added scenes in the TV version is the 1st added scene, it gives more of input into myers as Loomis's patient, the rest of the scenes were a kinda unnecessary, the UK edition ahs the Halloween unmasked 2000 as an extra feature, Top review :)
Great idea for a video series dude! I really wish I owned that DVD! I have seen that version though, and I do like the extra scenes that they shot for TV. Rock on buddy!
I love this film, but i prefer black christmas. Even though Halloween gets most credits for starting the mainstream slasher "point-of-view" filming technique, Black Christmas pre-dates it and does the same thing. Black Christmas is far darker and moodier. Ive not watched Halloween for about 3 or 4 months, so i may watch it tonite. Good review ;)
Halloween is a great classic.

@Findyoursanctuary i agree with you on the fog. i hated the remake of it though.

@ronfrrll73 Definitely, I was so disappointed with the remake it lacked the atmosphere that Carpenter was so good at creating.
