It´s true that the Maldives are islands.However as far as I know, the waters there are very shallow( not too deep) and they could import soil from´

mainland and build some defences against sea advance.

I doubt that there's any danger. The whole global warming issue is just something that greens and the media has gone full throttle on and no one is allowed to critizise them when they claim that there's scientific consensus.

I hope that Asians will look more to their economies than to a global warming hoax to force the western politicians to deal with real issues instead.

The Africans too are whining right now but I doubt they will care about "Global warming" when their economies grow.
