This idea for an MMORPG is awesomely amazing. They have something similar already... But it's far from what i would consider perfect. However, it's the closest we have to it. It's too bad all the stupid game companies are hoarding over Warfare games and competitive shooters... We need to move into the age of Zombie survival MMO games. And all companies must realize that!

they need a zombie mmorpg but not just any kind thrown together a well thought one just like wow or guuild wars or anyother good mmo but a first person shooteer with hide outs that are just like towns in all mmos but u cant just die a million times and still be alive cuz that would take away from the whole zombie survival part of the game like if u die ur character has to get antidote or some shit like that or u have so many chances where someone saves u but awersome video

They should have it so that aside from the typical civilian and police survivor characters, you can play as an urban gangster or maybe a merc who decided to slip through the blockades to hunt for the billion-dollar MacGuffin that created the outbreak, and to hunt zombies for fun...

@HonestObserver Oh, and why would survivors fight each other besides the fact that some of them are not nice people or out of sheer desperation? Maybe the outbreak has an airborne version that manifests randomly, whether you were injured by a zombie or not. So if you're playing a low-level survivor after too long of being a noob and running from the zombies instead of killing them, you might accidentally turn into one! Thus making the survivors paranoid and leading some to hunt the others.

you have a brilliant idea and if you do find some way to make one i will thank you forever since we REALLY need a zombie mmorpg also a game called Combat Arms by Nexon is getting a new game mode called quarantine mode that involves both humans and infected you can play as either and the great thing is it come out tommorow (the mode that is) if u get on add shackalacka as a friend :P you can play as the infected (real tough zombies) or the regular humans that you usually play as

Probably it would be like Second Life in terms of designing an avatar that approximated yourself, but in addition you could pick a skill set for survival abilities, and possibly other perks and quirks that could effect your character when fighting the undead. It might be interesting to have a job system that sounded regular, but played into the whole zombie theme. For instance taking the profession 'Shop Clerk' might mean a bonus to finding items or something.

Well, I read your description and I say. Great job. I mean, your right, all mmorpgs, turn out to be some WoW Wannabe. But never turn out as great. YOu nver said if it would be 1st person or 3rd. Better in 1st, but 3rd is good to.

This would be more like a pairing of Left 4 Dead and Stalker Shadow of Chrenobyl; a survival game dependent on players working together or against each other in a city overwhelmed with the undead, gathering equipment and weapons, rescuing survivors, all set in an MMORPG style interface.
