I saw something similar to this in York in October 2007, when a GNER class 91 was seen towing an HST, but it was going to stop in York and not pass thorugh.
@TheHighlands43113 You appear to have been lucky enough to be one of the few enthusiasts out there to get to 'bash' (ride) this so that should make up for the lack of the photo(s). Thanks for the comment.
Well Done for capturing this mate a Class 91 electric loco rescuring the HST set probably one of the power cars had failed and sent the Class 91 to rescue the whole HST set whereabouts was it travelling from/to
@MrHaynestrainvideos Thanks for your kind words. This was travelling from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh on diagram 1S22 however as the [updated] video info now says, passengers were transferred at Doncaster onto another HST for onward travel to Edinburgh. Many thanks for the comment.
@KBRAILVIDEOS Thanks for the comment and for letting me know about this - you have been appropriately credited in the video info. I'm not actually sure what that sound was about 1 to 2 seconds in, it could have been a stifled laugh from me or it could have been something different entirely. I wasn't feel 100% on the day anyway with the onset of a cold so it could have been related to that.
Anyway, thanks for the comment and thanks again for the heads up about this.
MEGA RARE

Fantastic video, with a long winded intro. Don't do yourself down. The 91 was really shifting. Quality stuff!!
