  • this is from 08 people. their newer videos have improved.

archer has gotten really good live(: please look up the newer videos!

  • im a hard fi fan but come on its not the most convincing performance is it hes done better it sounds like his breathing is out with the song in fact looking at how long ago it is i dare say he actually has had some singing lessons from then til now cos his voice is a lot stronger now

  • awful

  • @tonygreig better than anything u can do EVER Pric, hard-fi are a very big band, and he might not be the BEST singer he is still WAY more talented than you in singing and songwriting than you EVER WILL BE WANKER

  • There is F all wrong with his voice!! they sing about real life, they don't try to be flash . if you dont like them then go and listen to some shite pop group that was put together by a record producer with songs written by someone else.

  • @garyboylec yes!!

  • ok guys...i just heard him on alan carr chatty man...he is NOT a shit singer no more!

  • he looks like hes got a severe bout of the shits and hes fightin to hold it in all the way durin the performance!!!

  • in my opinion, i think the fact the way he sings, kind of completes the song.

  • i was listening to hard fi album.. and i thought they were great in studio.. and wanted to hear them live, is kind of dissapointing here.. he needs to get more air in the lungs..

  • Crikey! this band is so average!!! The Wild Beasts are so much more dynamic live and are so damn original!

  • DIVVY "COCKney" shame cos on CD they sound good....... Glad i didn't waste any money watching them live!!!!!

  • yeah his voice is good in this but he cant do full concerts...he obviously has a bad throat or something lol

  • Ive seen them live and they were brilliant, Richards vocals were spot on.

  • yeh i love hard fi but live aint gr8

  • its clear from this he can sing... when they tour he wrecks his voice early, 1.50-2.00 is perfect...

  • YEAAAAHHHHHH AWESOME VERSION!

  • awful vocals!

  • Actually, this version is pretty good. Chek out some other versions and you're gonna see what is bad vocals.

  • it's a shame he can't sing well.He is a quite gifted songwriter. For me stars of cctv was a really good album

  • yea it was.

shame hes no good live but good recorede stuff

  • @routineintheagony11 joe strummer and mick jones couldnt sing either- his voice is fine for the style of music and for the attitude

  • His voice is great... he needs to train his lungs though.... he cant get enough air to sing with....

  • This one isn't as bad as the V2006, this one is actually quite good...

  • Fantastic performance.

  • la primera vez que vi esta banda fue a travez de este programa , buen programa de jools y buena banda HARD FI son lo maximo

  • I love this song!!

  • great live performance

  • If you're genuinely a fan of the Fi,surely you can see what the appeal of their live performances is. It's the whole atmosphere, the energy and enthusiasm the band (especially Rich) have that is so fascinating.Rich is really really a great frontman.

Btw,I've uploaded the original high quality video onto MediaFire in case anyone's interested.

  • I think it's an okay performance.I've seen lots of comments about how poor he sounds live,he can't sing at all,etc.etc.Although I've never got the chance to go to a Hard-Fi gig, those comments never affect my strong desire to see them perform.Just sitting in front of the computer watching their live videos makes me feel excited, not to mention being in the crowd personally.

  • totally disagree! Best band on the planet!
