  • o this ones easy its ju.. wait wat? wait noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • lol! that happened to me once in pee wee.. it was the only goal i allowed in the game

  • Hardy Sauter? Beauty name.

  • let this be a lesson to ALL players, let the goalie make the save not you.

  • cant take it easily you need to use your chest to save it so it has nothing to go through

  • he shoots he scoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooorze

  • i am not a icehockey fan but i think this is a nice goal

  • Ive scored like this before haha

  • jaw dropping

  • yeah GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!jajaja

  • You didnt see that? WTF move your the midsection of your body infront of it and stop it rookie.

  • i think he someone tiped it

  • that was like defying science man like the way that puck curved at the very end was insane

  • its not that it was easy to block or not or how many bounces it took, the only reason the puck went in is cause goaly was being complacent.

  • I'm a goalie, too, and i just can say, it's sometimes very difficult to stop a long shot, because you can't with your reflexes.

  • @eishockeyjunkee Not true. They can be blocked and have been. Its generally very difficult.

  • any slapper that changes directions twice is hard to stop

  • Anybody who's a former goalie sympathizes with this kid. Anybody who laughs at this has no idea what they're talking about.

  • It was an auto goal! !!

  • there's a similar goal like this on toskala i think, really great goalie, but he's rediculed as a terrible goalie because of that one bad bounce

  • the guy with no 10.. his surname is (in my language..) tatter! lol

  • wow lol. that sucks!

  • sniped

  • I hate bouncers like that then the team is pissed cuz u let in a goal like that just drop and hope you get lucky

  • imagin that hitting ur head :O

  • I must agree, I don't play goalie but i have tried it a couple of times for fun and those bouncing shots are unpredictable.

  • I had that happen except I put it out off my blocker and the kid beat me 5 hole

  • And THAT is why you put your body behing the puck.

  • Haha Thats Great

  • anyone who has ever played goalie can certainly relate to this sort of thing. the strangest things can happen in hockey.

  • It is hard to watch those bouncing pucks, but the goalie should have seen the shot coming.

  • A tough one for the goalie. Still should of had it though. Maybe he should have come out and blocked it with his body like a short stop in baseball rather than just make a lazy stab at with his stick at the last second.

  • OMG!!!

  • it bounced!!

  • @12ikea Twice

  • i live in memphis

  • that was incredible

  • well he didn't have a goal he had an assist XD

  • The best!!

  • They are supposed to freeze the pucks to help prevent bouncing. Guess that one defrosted quickly.

  • @beatle11 doesnt matter how frozen they are theres still a ton of bounce if u hit em right even if they only defrost for 30 seconds

  • Thats amazing

  • ok, i blame this on the defender. he touched it which made it go in. if he didnt touch it it would have been icing

  • Guys its normal if he scored i am not surprised of that goal i know how the goalie feel's but he may think that he's not the only one who did that mistake ;D

  • Perhaps he didn't see the reflection on his team mate. It seems as if he was ready to save the origional shot; however, the second accidental touch which was problably to small to notice through him off. Take a look at 0:48

  • Lucky bounce

  • omg this is best goal

  • OMG thats sooo funny i did that in NHL 9 the video game! thats soo cool no jokes

  • Every goaltender has experienced this at one time or another....puck bounces.....happens to the best of them. Regain your composure and move on.

  • @railcar123 yeah this has happened in the NHL a few times but doesnt matter they are down for like a minute but get back up and are ready to go

  • @railcar123 i did lmao it was awful ....

  • poor guy

  • i know that looked easy to block but it isnt.

  • It look easy to block, but I want to see you in at his place.

  • That is one of the sweatest goals I have seen. NHL or not.

  • It was the defenders fault. But GK screwed up by not putting his body behind it.

  • The goalie was dumb for not putting his body in front of the puck. I know it's hard not knowing if the puck's going to bounce to the left or right. But trying to stop it with your blocker? Psh....

  • @Tanamden ok 1.) He probly never saw the guy shoot it. 2.) Everyone was at the other end so he was probly like"OMGWTF!" when he realized it was 5 ft in front of him. and 3.) like said so many times already.... it was bouncing lol

  • some people say it bounced. i say Jesus is awesome and that goaly was high!!!

  • No luck there and way better than golf.

  • It's okay, there's always Toskala.

  • it is harder to se a bouncing puck then a bouncing football

  • a goalie is really on hs toes when the pucks that far away i bet he hardly knew the puck was coming before it was like 15 feet away from him and he lanuched that so it was going fast plus what pittsburg says it bounces around on the ice there might have been a kink in the ice that redirected it also

  • nice goal but in nhl it would be more impressive

  • Haha nice shot

  • that is crazy! what league is this? and pittsburgfan your right if it bounces it is so hard to stop!

  • WHAT THE HELL!!!!! so lucky!!!!!!!

  • Nice shot. The goalie had no chance.

  • from the back of the net ??!?!?!?! awesome !!!

  • gotta suck especially when a goal horn plays

  • Goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooal!

  • bad luck for the goalie, man.

  • Great video!

  • Golatenders should ALWAYS put the body in front of the puck just for these occasions.

  • physics are f*cked sometimes

  • I really dont get why some players dont practice this type of thing, I know it sounds impractical but it is rarely used and it often goes in

  • @PwnNubtarzz how do you practice a random event?

  • nice shot for making it on net that far away, hate to be that goal tender, even though like you said bouncing pucks are hard

  • omg

  • dont let it bother you mr goalie: ) fluke shit happens all the time even in nhl

  • @420SexyTime this isnt even nhl

  • @420SexyTime i love ur name sir

  • it is not the longest goal ever. saw a guy do it on a longer rink

  • @MultiLolwhat it says for the team's history records, nice reading

  • @MultiLolwhat It's in Blazers history....learn to read.

  • Fair play to the commentators for complimenting the camera operators, some presence of mind to keep the cameras covering such an unexpected event!

  • can't blame him

  • The goalie was probably thinking: "And it's a dump, HOLY MOLY! Why is it behind me in the net???"

  • ha!, im frm okc too ")

  • wow sweet goal even the guy who scored it had that WTF look on his face.

  • hmm, this might be a good strategy in hockey then :)

  • distant is measured when the last time the puck was touched!, i don't think it was from the other end, but still hell of a goal!, its just not really long cus the guy who was next to the goally touched and he was on the same team as the shooter!,

  • i honestly think the goaly didn't have a chance stopping it, nice try though, trying to stop a bouncig puck, let me remind you a puck is flay, not round. Any way, nice vid :-)

  • @hapyiskl

Yeah, to play as a goalie you have a lot more respect for the keeper and what happened to them here.

  • top shelf to

  • sm league still stands for the longest goal

  • nice...:)))

  • hmm it looked as if he thought the player on his team had the puck as he moved towards him, but either way bounce pucks suck!

  • you can't calculate where the puck is going to bounce

  • Looks like it would be easy to save, but it all happens so fast. Slow-mo, you're thinking why doesn't the keeper just cover up his right post, but with the change in direction, the speed, and the bounce, i'd say it would be very difficult to save. Very good, but very lucky goal.

  • hahahaha guy on 1:23 - his surname is SZMATA that means RUG or if u wanna say about girl SLUT omg xD

  • shmata? yidish?

  • i was that goalie

  • Not something to be proud of. =P

  • sucks for you

  • You have nothing to be embarassed about once you learned there was a bounce. lol

  • theres no way he could of block that shot with bouncy puck

  • you know nothing about hockey lol

  • I'm a goalie, and sometimes those long shots were tough because they would skip off bumps in the ice at the last minute, also if the puck went above the boards it would have a black background and be hard to spot when it was traveling fast.

  • @bigbadbojenkins I Totaly understand dude. Well because I'm a goalie to. lol

  • All stops that look like routine ones are usually the ones that bite you in the ass.

  • it bounced guys, those are hard to get no matter how far away

  • @pittsburgfan1 true that

  • 29 sekunda zawodnik z nr 10 "szmata"

  • @pittsburgfan1 and not to mention everyone is at the other end so he would never expect it to just be coming at him and he prolly never saw the guy shoot it

  • @pittsburgfan1 i know man i'm a goalie and i've let these in. they're so erratic there's no way to judge it

  • @pittsburgfan1 comppletley im guessing you are a goalie cause only a goalie would really understand that

  • is this guy a goalie?

  • no excuses there, get infront of it!!

  • ever heard of bouncing? it hit his stick mhm it happens, try leaving your computer and picking up a sport

  • Well that was a tough one but as a goalie the shot should've been stopped by putting the whole body on the line rather than just trying to catch it with the blocker. Shows that it's always good to shoot tho'!

  • Man, you can't tell where the puck is gonna go when it bounces like that.

  • dude bob oblong coulda stopped that

  • wtf!! the goalie was sleeping or wat, dat was luck

  • great

  • Knuckle pucks really are a hell of a thing

  • i wish tht was in the nhl

  • wtf

  • As Grapes would say...YOU KIDS OUT THERE, DON'T BLOCK SHOTS WITH YOUR STICK

  • This is true. But when it's tipped from center ice, for the love of all humanity, STOP THE PUCK!

  • a bouncing puck is like a bouncing football, its hard to tell where its gonna go

  • worse :) the puck is not round so it's prone to really unpredictable trajectory changes

  • like a box of cocoletes

  • totally shit happens. a simple shot is easier then a puck thats skipping along the ice in completely different directions

  • @hitlerhater50 American football ^_^

  • @hitlerhater50 You do know where the football is going to go if it comes straight at you, even if it hits someone, it's still much bigger than a puck so it's easier to catch the ball than a puck

  • @hitlerhater50

But you never know where bouncing puck goes because it isnt round.

  • @hitlerhater50

except that you can tell exaclty where a bouncing football will fall

  • @tolstoythegreat only abot 12% of the time

  • the goalie had no idea what was goin on lol

  • nice powerplay breakout ahah

  • no freakin way

  • What a deflection

  • Snipe!!!!!!! it was deflected by the defensemen

  • my hockey team last sature day is 1 man down and the other team passes it to the defence the defence misses it goes all the way down the ice and the goalie misses it!!! there golie sucks tho and no one knew it because we were in the middle of a line change then we lined up in the center and my hole team is like what the heck happened

  • SNIIIIIIPER!!!

  • I was there for that goal!!!!!!

  • How long was that---203 feet? Talk about some bad bounces and deflections, especially at 0:46 .

That is the hardest kind of shot to stop for a goalie.

  • the ice surface is 200 feet long...it was about 196 ft. but still as impressive!

  • That was insane he has good aim :)

  • not the goalies fault

  • dam that was the nicest goal i ever sall he got really lucky on that slap shot

  • what a goal

  • omg hax

  • Dan Cloutier in net? lulz!!!! that was like double as bad as cloutier

  • wow what a slap

  • cant see the puk (ever)

  • Well I can explain that. You see, there's no such thing as a puk. Therefore, you cannot see it.

  • that was amazing, feel bad for the goalie

  • those bounces are bad!

  • not the goalkeeper's fault..

  • SNIPE

  • woah...

  • crazy deflection and bounces... bad luck for the keeper.

  • lol poor guy

  • At least it didn't have big impact on score :P 2-1 or 3-1 is still a lose :P But goal was funy indeed

  • ? you can come back from a one goal defecit easier then a 2 goal lol

  • b ruins pulled that off this season against ottawa. Two goals with under 1:30 left..

  • Yeah but that was only the end of the first period.

  • That was straight up Dumba

  • the goaltender should have saved it

  • nice tip

  • Well, looks like it's longest indeed. The two other I saw were scored from in front of the goal line, not behind.

  • that guy will make it into the NHL rofl

  • it was deflected but the puck bounced way to far away at the hash that goalie shoulda had it

  • I think that the goaltender still could've reasonably blockered it alright.

  • defense and goalie got fired i bet lol

  • WOW sweet goal

  • What a sniper top left corner XD

  • It looks like it went off of another guy's stick.

  • Luckiest goal of the year? Try in the history of the NHL.

  • that's quite a feat considering this isn't the NHL :D

  • From a Wichita fan; thanks Blazers for all the memories.
