  • ? And The Mysterians were so CRUDE. Truly one of the greatest garage bands of the 1960's.

"I need somebody to work it out"

In other words, "I need a blowjob"

    ;-)

  • Michigan present

  • one on rock's sound ,the best i heard;;;;; love that!!

  • one word: awesome

  • lead singer came from mars to michigan

  • This was Question Mark and the Mysterians follow-up to their million-seller "96 Tears." "I Need Somebody" reached #22 over a ten week run starting November 19, 1966. Question Mark's real name: Rudy Martinez. The rest of the group: Bobby Balderama (guitar), Frank Rodriguez (organ), Frank Lugo (bass) and Eddie Serrrato (drums).

  • @horarwgt Puro mexicano, I wonder how they get here to Michigan? do you guys know?

  • @johnmachiavelli check out the Monks

  • these guys are playin at the hamtramck festival labor day weekend in hamtramck michigan

  • DId he ever remove his glasses? He wasn't blind was he?

They sound like the Seeds here, not quite as good though...

  • The rhythm guitar, right behind the singer: is that Richard "The Night Stalker" Ramirez?

  • FANTASTIC BRAVO joselito

  • I would love to see them live.

  • Freakbeat at its finest!! Gotta love that "Mary Had A Little Lamb" organ solo! Not to mention that this was their 2nd Top 40 hit (peaking at #22 in 1966), and an excellent follow-up to their classic "96 Tears"!!

  • early Romoanes

  • I just saw ? & the Mysterians last month (Aug. 2010.) They still rock like it's 1966. And BTW they are VERY down to earth, (no not from Mars) friendly guys.

  • Holy sh#t, they are GREAT!! Someone book them now~ or put them in the Music Hall of Fame..

  • kdancat:

    It did.

  • peaked at #4 on CFUN 1410 AM in Vancouver, Canada December 1966

  • The Cameo label original was a hit single in November 1966. Thank God that this lip sync clip survives.

  • god hates them which is why i love them

  • so damn groovy!

  • John Lennon was striving for this kind of credibility.

  • The only thing I can't understand is why this one performance didn't start a whole new cultural revolution, replacing everything else in existence and redefining reality.

  • Yes

  • @kdancat

    Because it's shallow?

  • @kdancat Fabulous. I don't know why your entry failed to alter time.

  • This is ultra crucial!
