I took trombone lessons when I was 9 because they said "girls don't play trombone," BTW. In this case, it was true. I was so short at the time I had bend into a pretzel to hold the horn at a weird angle or throw the slide out and catch it to hit certain notes. LOL

Luckily, those notes weren't much in demand.

I ended up sticking with piano, to the relief of everyone within a five mile radius.
