Gene Vincent died from a perforated ulcer, aged 36.

    October 12th, 2010

    It's been 39 years since his death... I'm 20, but I haven't forgotten you...

    R.I.P. Gene...

  • Man the original blue caps are just one of the greatest bands EVER

  • Cliff Gallup, absolutely brilliant. I bet his fingers and guitar were nearly on fire.

  • Incredible innovative Cilff Gallup solos here like the pulloffs at breakneck speed and he uses both major pentatonic and minor pentatonic scales within the same solo. The second solo show Cliff, again, immense creative innovations for rock-a-billy music - here dissonant double-stops. No wonder Albert Lee, Jeff Beck, Jimmy Page et al called him a 'killer'.

  • @gangerollo totally right you are.nobody could touch him then or know.

  • Splendid Gene Vincent's voice & the strong Rockin' Guitar Break !

  • @slayerrules114

Setzer's solo is about 1/8th the speed of Cliff's

  • @dwt3 Ummmm how about you listen to the song before you make any sort of statement like that. The second solo is so much faster.........
