The pollaxe would be much more effective against a well-armoured opponent. I understand on the battlefield the pollaxe would have been used as the primary knightly weapon.
Really well presented demo there - a good balance of accuracy of information and with making it accessable and entertaining to the public. Wish I were there to see the rest of it.
(only thing I'd disagree about on the entire display with is using pollaxe as the first foundation cornerstone of the technique, and longsword as a follow-up - I'd argue that the lichtenaur tradition is t' other way around)

@VikingWannaBe51887 Yes, it was on the first day and was hosted by the Higgins Museum using two of the knights from the tournament.
